  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Considering this is an opinion question, I don't think there's much of a difference. If there's any more beautiful woman who are Christians than atheists/agnostics, then Heaven will be even brighter :p but seriously, the relationship with God doesn't make anyone prettier* just potentially eternally peaceful.

*neither does the mud and dirt a lot of women put on. I don't say make-up is bad, it's just that it isn't true beauty, it's usually covering an already-pretty face. But women can do whatever they want in that department. :D

The question matters to me since it may influence my decision on whether to be religious or not. If there are more beautiful Christian women, it might be in my best interests to be religious. If not, then maybe not.

I think make-up makes women look better, not worse. Most women look scary without any make-up.

Well I don't foresee this thread surviving too long.

No doubt a godly spirit is an attractive quality.

I was thinking ones a little younger though, like less than 30...

Next you'll want them to still be living too. You are awfully demanding.

I remember her. She scared me. I can't remember the video but it was spooky.

Regarding make-up being good, sure some women look pretty with it, but some look extra-scary. Especially when they over do it and it looks like they painted their face on.

I saw a girl I liked on facebook once without her make-up in one of her photos. Didn't even recognize her. Looked like her uglier, older sister or something.

Being religious is not going to help you find salvation, my friend, and neither is the attractiveness of a Christian woman. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone (John 14:6). There is no other way to be saved (Acts 4:12) and there is nothing you can do to earn or merit your salvation (Ephesians 2:8-9). Being religious does not automatically mean that you are a genuine Christian. There is vast difference between being religious and being a Christian, my friend. If you would like to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to ask. And I owe you an apology, my friend. I was rude to you yesterday and I am sorry for that. I am asking for your forgiveness. Though I make no excuses for my ill behavior, I do sometimes get rather over zealous and when that happens, my emotions end up dictating my words and actions, which, more often than not, are very unChristlike. So, I humbly apologize to you for being rude and unkind to you yesterday. I hope you will accept my apology. I will, in the future, be on prayerful guard not to let it happen again.

"Do I believe in God in hopes of eternal grace in heaven, or to do well in love by fellow man? No, I mostly do it for the chicks..."

I think it would make an excellent Axe Body Spray commercial.

Are Christian women better-looking than non-christian women (such as atheists, agnostics)?

By definition, since we are all born dead in our sins, all christian women were at one time non-christian, attractive or otherwise.

Being regenerated is a spiritual process, a change on the inside. Physical attractiveness is not a factor either way in being a christian or not.

Yes, this is the Gospel you know: deny yourself take up your Cross and follow Jesus, because ... that's where all the hot babes are.

Forgive me my blasphemy, but - seriously dude? We all need to be honest with the Lord about our struggles, and Christianity = getting the Blessing of Abraham. His wife was HOT well into her 60's ... that's a part of the Gospel most of Churchianity refuses to mention. And yet none of the Promises are along these lines; Abraham and Sarah were their own unique individuals. It's much more correct thinking to come to terms with the fact that if you get YOUR Spirituality together, you'll become much more attractive to women. Nothing wrong with that being a motivator, but there's still that "thou shalt have no other Gods before Him" thing. The focus of our lives should be on "things above," not carnality. (This just might be one of the best indicators of maturity, in the Christian sense?)

So the way a person looks on the outside makes no difference to what they are on the inside?
