By the way, NASA is saying that there is a comet that might be headed to the Earth, everything else is your interpretation.
WOW -- speaking of interpretation, chief.

Try an "asteroid", then a mirror.

What do you mean by 'organisms'?

I'm an 'organism' that evolved from my parents, but I'm still a human being.

And I certainly didn't just 'pop into existence', unless you mean when I was conceived; but frankly, I'm not sure what you mean.
No, you did not evolved from your parents. You were born.

Nothing is mine. I just go by the math others give me. You tell me, what year do you assign as the 2000 year anniversary of the church? If you believe in a rapture, tribulation or second coming or not does not change that the church will be here for 2000 years and the date for the comet just happens to be on Easter Friday of that year. Then 7 years later when the comet comes back around again it will arrive on Resurrection Sunday of that year.

Not everyone believes in the day equals 1000 years theory. So for most people perhaps the 2,000 year anniversary of the church does not have any meaning for them. Only those who are living free from sin. Without spot, blemish or wrinkle will be qualified to be a part of the Bride. They have oil in their lamp meaning they are filled with the Holy Spirit of God. They have the mind of Christ and the Divine thoughts of God.

Care to show where in the link that you provide NASA says that the tribulation period will start in 2029?
It could, begin that year. Most people do not think it is that far off. Do you think that is when the Muslims will attack Jerusalam? We will not be here for the tribulation period. The 144,000 or 12,000 from each tribe will be here to give a witness and a testimony for God. By then they should have a DNA test to be able to verify that they are all pure Hebrew. As they already have identified a marker for the Cohen Gene.

Wrong number, chief -- you need to call Mr. Jazer for that.

Exactly my point. But he keeps saying it is not his interpretation, he says it's NASA that is telling him all that.
I really don't want to get in on this discussion, but I think he is coming from this perspective:

Revelation 8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
Revelation 8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.

Wormwood = asteroid 2004 MN4.

Jazer will have to clarify though.

Regardless, it's his perspective, not NASA's. And no matter how certain NASA is that a comet is going to hit the earth, the Bible clearly states that NOBODY knows the dates of the events he is trying to predict.

The Bible says that you can't know the DAY or the HOUR of the Lord's return, but It does not say you can't know the YEAR.

Jesus will return seven years after the Rapture, but we don't know the day, let alone the hour.

I don't subscribe though, to what Jazer believes.

Splitting hairs again? :) I thought that by DAY they meant 1,000 years in the Bible... And Jazer said the day was April 13, 2029.

April 13, 2029 is good friday. I said the beginning of the church was 50 days later on the day of Pentecost. This was the beginning of the Church in the book of Acts. It could just be a coincidence that this comet marks the 2000 year anniversary of the crucification of Jesus.

Acts 2:1 "When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."

Christmas? What's that?
It's the Winter Solstice. The shortest day of the year. Actually it was on the 22, but we celebrate it on the evening of the 24 and the day of the 25 of December on our calender. The solstice is the first day of winter. This is a part of our tradition to mark the seasons. This is why we have "lights in the firmament". So we can keep track of the seasons. It is very handy to know when to put your seeds in the ground to plant your food.

1:14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:

Saint Nicholas day is actually Dec 6, but people tend to celebrate that on the 25th.

Saint Nicholas (Greek: Ἅγιος Νικόλαος, Hagios ["Saint", literally "Holy", Latin: Sanctus] Nicolaos ["victory of the people"]) (270 – 6 December 343),[3][4] also called Nikolaos of Myra, was a historic 4th-century saint and Greek[5] Bishop of Myra (Demre, part of modern-day Turkey) in Lycia

Not my wife, she has to work this year. Next year she will be off that day. She's off on Thanksgiving and New Years this year.
I have a feeling though, that your wife is an exception to the point.
