CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

People say there is no evidence for global warming, people say there is no evidence for evolution. People say there is no evidence for God. Some people say there is no evidence that the earth is more then 6,000 years old. Some people say there is no evidence that the universe is 14 billion years old. It is all the same, no one is going to force anyone to believe if they do not want to believe and accept the evidence.

Excuse me you just put your foot in your mouth. The Jews were following the teachings of Moses in the Bible and they did not have a plague. If Europe had followed the Bible and cleaned up their garbage rather then expecting the rats to carry it off, then they would not have had a plague. Even today the American Heart Ass is just starting to catch up with the diet that Moses gave us 3500 years ago. Although a lot of other areas in science is still very mixed up and confused about what people should eat.
If we follow your plan than you have to give up everything that was given to you by a Christian scientist. Which is just about everything in science because Christians are inspired by God. So you are the one that would end up on the island if it were not for Christianity and their contribution to science.
Many of the early scientists were Christians (Copernicus, Galileo, Pascal, Isaac Newton, Carl Linnaeus, Johannes Keppler, Robert Boyle, Louis Pasteur, Jean Henri Fabre, Michael Faraday, John Ambrose Fleming, Max Planck etc.).

Atheistic Science tells us the world is flat and the sun revolves around the Earth. They got the dead harlot church to go along with them. It was actually a Christian Copernicus that told us the Earth revolves around the Sun. You better clean up Science because those atheists are messing everything up. It is just one error after another with them, because they do not have God to lead them in the way to go. If it were not for Christianity the atheists would have destoryed this world 50 years ago.

I love that kind of logic.
For centuries now, Christianity has one thing hammered into the collective mind of society: Christianity is "Truth". It is good and right and true... so if something is good and right and true, it must be christian.
And because all non-Christians are the children of the father of lies, their positions are as evil and wrong and false as vice verse: if something is evil and wrong and false, it must be based on satanic lies (atheism, for some).
So when something is shown to be correct (or even only accepted by a 'Christian' to be correct...) it becomes Christian! And that what is false, becomes Satanic!
And so Copernicus changes from heretic to "true Christian"... and geocentrism becomes "atheistic science".

Maybe your version of Christianity, but God's version goes like this:
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
1. Jesus is the Truth.
2. The Bible is the Truth.
We Christians don't sit around and wonder why you guys don't believe us, or the Bible, or even call God a deceiver.
We know why:
John 8:45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

And all that repeated long enough and often enough so that generations of people have accepted that without question. It is so entrenched in society - the very depraved, unsaved, evil, secular, atheistic, harlot society that you "fundamentalists" so despise - that even saying something against Christianity means you are viewed as "someone who hates good".
