I lost the sun and can't find it, hadn't seen it in awhile. My sister in law has been dealing with cancer for over a year now, they just told her the chemo is not doing any good anymore and gave her less than 6 months.

i can't WAIT for Lenten service tonight!! i always enjoy the service SO much - and i'm excited because my bestie will be joining us tonight (she's WELS), and because there's a possibility that my son will get to acolyte again tonight, and if he does, he'll get to wear a cassock - he looked SO HANDSOME in it last week, i'm gonna make sure i bring my camera so i can take a pic this time!!

It's hard to watch someone else suffer, isn't it? God surely allows this so we must lean on His understanding and timeline, which is beyond our comprehension. We must be at peace with that or we'll drive ourselves crazy, but you already know that.

Doctors are sometimes limited by their own inability to understand diseases outside systematic parameters and they often forget that each of us is unique and might just need to find another avenue to deal with what God's put on our plate. For example, I believe that diet (including fasting) and natural supplements are critical to health and the body's ability to heal itself, but it's difficult to find a physician who will publicly agree. Extraordinary and frustrating as there are many walking examples of this, including me.

Keep digging for another answer, pray for another outcome and for another avenue toward healing. These answers come in the most unusual ways, but they do come. I will keep your family in my prayers.

I've been sick now for two days. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. I'll have to make that appointment, instead of putting it off like I have been, and go see the doc. These bouts are gettng really old.

In spite of feeling like... well, crap, I went out and pottered around the yard. Spread some gopher go-away pellets, moved the Clemantis out of the dark along with the Hydrangia. Hopefully they all make it. Hopefully they all like the new locations. If I can handle it, I might till part of the garden tomorrow. It remains to be seen if I'm up to it. The stationwagon also needs doing. I keep putting that one off. Pulling the engine is a right good pain in the... well, you know what I mean.

Really bummed out that I didn't get to ride on the stagecoach today though. Needed to pick up dog food too. Blah day... Missed Nana a lot today too.

I was curious and looked at DaRev's profile and she's been posting there quite a bit.

I don't want to be a gossip or anything but I'm putting 2 and 2 together and unless I'm mistaken it equals 4.

I think my pea brain figured it out yesterday but even then I was SO SLOW to it.

I guess my couple-dar is borked. I used to be able to sniff out couplings with ease.



At any rate, Rev is a great guy (yeah, even though he and I tend to go at it, it's only because we like each other) and while I don't know alexnbeth's mom very well, she seems pretty sweet, too.

I personally think its how its done, similar to Halloween. If you joke with someone, 'hey I was wondering if I could use your car for the weekend because mine is being repaired'....then 10 seconds later say April fools. It seems innocent, just fooling around. Some would consider that a lie but is it a lie if you tell the truth within seconds? And no harm is done? I'm not sure myself...

When my daughter was little (around 5)...she would say, "It's not a lie, it's a tease." And to be a tease, you had to reveal that it was a tease right away...otherwise, it was a lie. She came up with this all on her own.
