CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I like your quote. I equate it to the fact that everyone has their pain. There is another quote by Plato I like. It's about music. Some thing like... Music gives rise to the spirit and wings to the soul. Not exact but you get the idea. It's the best description of music I have come across.

Our Lord died for ours sins, NOT so we would have to suffer as He did.
Hopefully everyone understood it as I meant it, which is the GOD
I worship, does not have it in Him, to cause us His children
harm.
(humans try, to re-invent who God is, to fit stinkin' thinkin')
Think about it:
1. God created this magnificent earth, too for us to enjoy.
2. God created us, in His (image: intellect & emotions
) again for us to enjoy...3. God created INus self-healing
abilities for us to enjoy...4. God came to earth as our Teacher, for us to enjoy...
5. God died for us, so we could be Saved. PRAISE
God.6. God is our Best-friend. PRAISE
God.7. God will resurrect us, to live with Him forever, for us to enjoy...
Can it get, any better than this? - you bet: ALL these gifts are FREE

Thanks for the reply. I'm glad you guys get where I'm coming from. Being grown up doesn't mean we're required to avoid this aspect of our emotions. Not everybody gets it. We're created in the image of God and that includes emotions even the silly ones. Thanks again.
