id be so beside myself with grief. oh how overwhelming. how do you explain that to the kids? horrible!

And then in the midst of all of that.....we got majorly hit with severe weather.....it was crazy! The lightning was the brightest I have ever seen and the thunder was truly rolling....it was kind of freaky! We had that two days in a row...and even now it looks like it's going to start up again!

I don't know....that is always a horrible thing to think about. I remember when my sister in law died and even though her children were already out of the house....it was soo hard. Her son was living with us at the time and having him run into our room that night saying "She's dead, she's dead"....it's something that is permanently etched in your mind.
