CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

i traveled out of town thursday to see my daddy and make sure he was ok and thankfully he be ok. got back not to long ago and enjoyed my family and friends. Now i have an achy eye and forehead for i had me a wee bit of an accident and it be swallon and hurts to read and type so i may not be on here too long. hope everyone has a good day. please pray for my friends fried whose house caught on fire this morning. This woman is totally devestated. she lost a lot of precious belongings and her kitty is missing. i plan on heading back that way next weekend to help out. your prayers are much appreciated. thank you.

yes...and in the helping, our focus stays on Him. I didn't realize it, but i was lookin for "help" from peeps instead of God...cuz what was goin on in my life freaked me out and God was freakin me out. Then the realization came...boom! I was looking to mere mortals to help me, instead of the One Who is my Support, my Strong Tower, my Comforter...He was allowing His face to be hidden from me...and i was freakin out...and in desperation i was lookin fer help that only HE could give from peeps.
