LOL, miss, I pretty much stay inside all summer except going from car to wherever I'm going and back again.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Here, it was 105F yesterday, and it's only going to be 104F today, so I think we'll stay inside and hope the air-conditioner works.

We got up to 84F today and the electric was out at work so we had no air conditioning.

Clear, 73 degrees at 5:00 in the morning. May get to the mid 80s, but heavy weather to windward. Radar shows stuff in DeKalb, headed this way. We're under flood watch.

Hot, hot, hot here in South Georgia...98 with heat index 105...chance of thunderstorms every afternoon...did have a strong wind come through late yesterday, and cooled things down to about 82.

We're having triple digits here every day - around 105. The air-conditioner can't keep up in the hottest part of the day. The nights are in the low 80's. We are now in need of rain, so send some our way if you have any left over.

The temperature here in Arkansas has reached 104 today. The heat index is around 110. The heat is playing havoc with my Arthritis.

Severe storm last night. Heavy rain and high winds. Today was to be the hottest day of the summer so far. While it was over 90 F, I don't believe it reached the predicted high, and I'm not complaining!

Warm for here and muggy. Without AC I feel about the same as I did in Az in the house maybe a bit warmer, but at least I can go outside and it is nice.

80 degrees with high humidity. Nice out though especially in the shade. This morning when I took an early walk there was fog and it was 57 degrees. Like that every morning. No rain now for days..unusual. Love it though.

We have a lot of humidity too. It's 76f now. I just hope we don't get anymore storms.

I spoke too soon when I said it wasn't raining hard last night. It turned into another major storm. But, that did seem to cool things off a bit.
