It's stopped raining! The roses look beautiful.

We're under a heat advisory for the next couple of days. Highs in the 90s with heat indexes in the low 100s.

I had to shut down the truck's air conditioner today. It does little good to run it in stop-and-start delivery conditions and all it really seems to do is try to overheat the engine. So, I operated with the windows open.

My car said 104ºF yesterday. We are not predicted to break this triple digit heat wave for several more days. Possibly next week they are saying. Wake me when it's September.

High temperatures remain, increased humidity as we continue through summer, and now we are in the season for the next several weeks when the wind hardly blows. It's stifling outside. Still, better than a hurricane!

We got our cold front - all the way down to 96F. We got out our sweaters and mittens. Forecasts say back to 105F+.

These folks talking about 60s and 70s should build snowmen.
