CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm with Allen on this one. Single life is great. For the first time I'm actually single for a while and I'm loving it.There's nothing bad about being single. I enjoy the freedom

I have to be honest, the worst thing about being single is not having that other person listen or try to give advice or a helping hand when you need it. Not to say advice and helping hand from others are not appreciated and loved and cherished just as much, but when its from your SO its a different feeling. I can't explain it now.

My first thought was eating alone at a restaurant but that is not really something that has to do with singleness per say. I guess I will say I miss having someone who has me at the centre of her thoughts at the same time that I miss having someone who is at the centre of my thoughts.

I'm content awhile I'm single now so when it is time for me to be wedded I can also be content awhile I'm married in later in life if the Lord sees me fit to marry a Godly lady
Sometimes I miss the companionship of having someone in my life that loves me, cares about me, and encourages me daily
plus watching a romantic movie with your SO = AWE BEST NIGHT EVER But I'm realizing that I got a lot of family that loves/cares about me, friends that encouraged me daily, and close friends who I consider for life and lasting
so I'm happy being Single right now but sometimes I wish I have my other half moments and yearn for it But I know in the Lord...His perfect timing is Never Late!!!

Nah, I cook for myself all the time. I think I meant hold hands. Yeah. That's what I was referring to...
