I think the worst part about being single is constantly having people ask you why you're single.

yeah i really miss, hand holding, and having someone who really cares that i know rally wants to be around me! lack of companionship is defiantly a big downer.

Or when suddenly one of your single friends finds someone they are blissfully happy with...and you want to be happy for her...but feel bad when you get that little deflated feeling :S

however singleness has many plus sides too!

Pretty much everything there is to do is more fun when done with someone else.

I also sense that people are more suspicious of people who are alone. I find that hurtful, since I am the last person they need to be suspicious of. I detest violence and would never hurt a soul.

YES! My grandfather used to do that to me whenever he called. I guess he finally got tired of the same answer, because he'd stopped a while back.

But seriously...I'm pretty happy right now. Yeah, I get my 'no one loves me' or 'I'm soooooo lonely!' moments...but they fade away. Right now, I'm just trying to focus on the Lord.

I was actually quite impressed last month when I went to visit my grandma, it took her two days to get around to asking me who I was dating, and when I told her no one she let it drop immediately. If you know my grandmother, you'd know that took a whole lot of restraint on her part.

although, that being said... she did tell me the night before I left that she wants me to find a man so I can give her some great-grand babies.
