"Evolution is a lie"
-Not exactly. If you are against an idea, please don't say something like that.

"The fossil records have giant gaps which disprove evolution"
-Unfortunately no. Look at Archeopteryx and Tiktaalik.

"Darwin was an atheist"
-Darwin was agnostic.

"Evolution is based on a lie"
-This is an old saying, attempting to ridicule us who accept ToE.

"On his deathbed, Darwin accepted Christ and doubted his theory."
-The Lady Hope story was a hoax.

"Evolution says that man came from some pool"
-Evolution is NOT abiogenesis.

"Atheism means that everything came from nothing"
-Atheism =/= BB Theory. Creation ex nihilo is what creationists believe. The Big Bang was not nothing that then exploded which created everything.

"There is no evidence for evolution"
-It is supported by mountains of evidence.

"The universe is not millions of years old"
-And how is that related to evolution?

"Adolph Hitler believed in evolution"
-Hitler was a Roman-Catholic creationist. He ordered burning of books containing anything related to ToE.

"Evolutionists are lost souls"
-No we are not. If you are an atheist you don't think souls exist.

"The devil invented evolution"
-Evolution is science, not something against religion. If you don't like science and don't want to be part of the Devil's plan, you can turn off your computer, find a tent, and live somewhere without any kind of science. That means no electricity.

"Evolution is a religion"
-Not even close. If evolution is a religion, then Metallica is a airplane manufacturer.

"Evolution has never been proven"
-It has been proven over and over again. Look a little more into the subject before jumping to conclusions.

"In John 3:14 is says"
-Spouting Bible verses does not disprove ToE.

"Everybody who believes in ToE needs serious mental help."
-Don't say that.

"Evolution is only a theory."
-Theory =/= Hypothesis. Theory is a supported fact.

"We can prove a designer. Look at a bus. It was CREATED for man"
-Man created a bus. A bus is a vehicle, not a complex organism that can reproduce.

"Mutations do not add new information"
-As far as I know, it can. Don't take my word on it though.

Those are the ones off the top of my head. If you have anything to add, please do so. But don't start spouting Bible verses because they are not a valid argument.

It's important to note that while what they say might not be true, they're not necessarily lying. Most creationists actually believe everything they say about evolution. They're not intentionally lying, they're just misinformed by fools and liars.

The professional Creationists are the ones I'm concerned about. They can't even be honest about the numbers of Biologists that support Evolution. According to them Scientist's support for Evolution has been falling like a stone since 1978.

Many do lie, however. In many cases it's been documented, in writing or by recording, that a certain creationist has had their errors explained to them, and that they responded. Ray Comfort, Kirk Cameron, Kent Hovind, William Dembski, Michael Egnor, Michael Behe, Duane Gish, and many others. These are the heads of the movement, the ones that create the lies that the sheep farther down the totem pole repeat unknowingly.

These people know they are wrong, that they are misrepresenting their opponents, and/or just making stuff up. There are numerous video recordings, and written conversations that prove this (many can be found on Youtube. Numerous letter conversations between real biologists and professional creationists can be found in the archives at The Pandas Thumb). However, they don't care. Some are motivated by simple greed, knowing they can fleece the flock. Others by the belief that the ends justify the means (aka "Lying for Jesus").

It's important to remember this. The heads of the movement are liars. Their followers should be ashamed of them.

I agree, the fault lies with the leaders of these organisations and not necessarily with their followers, who — already primed to be highly suspicious of evolution — unknowingly become victims in this war.

There's a nice word to describe these leaders and their cults

Agnotology, formerly agnatology, is a neologism for the study of culturally-induced ignorance or doubt, particularly the publication of inaccurate or misleading scientific data. The term was coined by Robert N. Proctor, a Stanford University professor specializing in the history of science and technology.
Agnotology - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As New Scientist Magazine (15th April 2009) puts it: -

The study of deliberately created ignorance - such as the falsehoods about evolution that are spread by creationists.

Off the top of my head, "kinds" are one of the most annoying. The number of times I've seen a creationist say that there's this (super)natural barrier that evolution can't cross is unbelievable, but I can't recall anyone ever (1) give a rigorous definition of "kind" that doesn't immediately slaughter that assertion, (2) give any supporting evidence for this alleged barrier.

Oh yes, and: "mutations can't add new information."

Never mind that they can demonstrably create things like new metabolic pathways.

"The fossil records have giant gaps which disprove evolution"
-That is a lie. While the fossil record does have gaps, they are not sufficient evidence against evolution.
As we all know, absence of evidence...

"Atheism means that everything came from nothing"
-Atheism =/= BB Theory. Creation ex nihilo is what creationists believe.
And the BB theory is hardly "everything from nothing" either, seeing as no one knows what the bang came from...

Atheism could also "mean" a lot of things, since it's a belief about supernatural agents, not the origin of the universe.

"The universe is not millions of years old"
-And how is that related to evolution?
It is, if you want to argue that all life descended from one or a few ancestors. That takes a bit of time :)

"Adolph Hitler believed in evolution"
-Hitler was a Roman-Catholic creationist. He ordered burning of books containing anything related to ToE.
Not to mention that who espouses a belief has nothing to do with the correctness of said belief.

"Evolutionists are lost souls"
-No we are not.
I for one don't have a soul :D

"Evolution is only a theory."
-Theory =/= Hypothesis. Theory is a supported fact.
What "theory" equals or doesn't equal is slightly more complicated than that (string theory?). The point to emphasise is that none of the scientific uses of the word mean "guess out of my rear end".

Welcome on board, BTW

I define 'kinds' as 'incipients'.

Initially they were the first-generation life on earth.

I am from Earth thank you.
Then you should pay attention to the words of Earthlings and Earth history.

First, Hitler was born a Catholic but hated Christianity.

"The Führer is deeply religious, but deeply anti-Christian. He regards Christianity as a symptom of decay. Rightly so. It is a branch of the Jewish race." -- Joseph Goebbels, Propaganda Minister, 1939

Second, Darwinism and Nazism are the exact same thing.

"The deepest and ultimate reason for the decline of the old Reich lay in its failure to recognize the racial problem and its importance for the historical evolution of peoples. For events in the lives of peoples are not expressions of chance, but processes related to the self-preservation and propagation of the species and the race and subject to the laws of Nature, even if people are not conscious of the inner reason for their actions." -- Adolf Hitler, Führer, 1925

"... struggle is always a means for improving a species' health and power of resistance and, therefore, a cause of its higher evolution. If the process were different, all further evolution would cease and the opposite would occur." -- Adolf Hitler, Führer, 1925

"National Socialism is nothing but applied biology." -- Rudolph Hess, Deputy Führer, 1934

"National Socialism is applied biology." -- Hans Schemm, Nazi Education Minister and president of the Nazi Teacher's Association, 1935

"Darwin would be astounded at the progress we're going to make in one year as we move the human race forward." -- Reinhard Heydrich, Chief of Police, January 20th 1942

Adolf Hitler named his book My Struggle (1925) after Charles Darwin's book title The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life (1859).

Adolf Hitler named his book My Struggle (1925) after Charles Darwin's book title The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life (1859).
Enough of this red herring, it makes me sick.

If Hitler hated Christianity, that doesn't make him any more atheist. He could've been a Shinto, Buddhist, a believer of Zeus.

Quote mining does not help.

No, Darwinism and Nazism aren't the same thing. They're not even close.
Those who believe in Nazi ideology believe that the Aryan race is superior to any other race. Nazism is a fascist ideology too. Nothing to do with what Darwin studied.
Darwinism is used by creationists as a pejorative word. It does not insult us.

More asinine quote mining.

Hitler did NOT name his book My Struggle after The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life. I don't know where creationists get these ideas in the first place.

Those two videos don't prove anything except how people are too ignorant to grasp the idea of Evolution and blame it on Nazism. Are you going to compare Toyota to Snickers next?

In fact, the Nazis wished they had been born Japanese or Muslims.

"You see, it's been our misfortune to have the wrong religion. Why didn't we have the religion of the Japanese, who regard sacrifice for the Fatherland as the highest good? The Mohammedan religion too would have been much more compatible to us than Christianity. Why did it have to be Christianity with its meekness and flabbiness?" -- Albert Speer, Minister of Armaments and War Production

Those who believe in Nazi ideology believe that the Aryan race is superior to any other race.
Which race is superior then, according to genetic engineering?

(Please answer this and be specific --- a one or two-word answer would be nice.)

If you come back with "human race", then I'll go ahead and consider Agnoaces' point a valid one.

So you ignore my agrument debunking your claims and move on to another thread making those exact claims. It must be hard ignoring the evidence.

"The fox remains always a fox, the goose remains a goose, and the tiger will retain the character of a tiger.
" - Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, vol. i, ch. xi

"Whoever would dare to raise a profane hand against that highest image of God among His creatures would sin against the bountiful Creator of this marvel and would collaborate in the expulsion from Paradise."
- Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf, vol ii, ch. i

"My feeling as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them." - Adolf Hitler, speech, April 12 1922, published in My New Order

Oh he hates christianity so much!

And i did a wors search on one of your quotes

"... struggle is always a means for improving a species' health and power of resistance and, therefore, a cause of its higher evolution. If the process were different, all further evolution would cease and the opposite would occur." -- Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer, 1925

I only found one site with this quote, and i have every reason to suspect he made it up. He had a lot of other quotes waiting to be used for amunition for quote miners like yourself.

"The deepest and ultimate reason for the decline of the old Reich lay in its failure to recognize the racial problem and its importance for the historical evolution of peoples. For events in the lives of peoples are not expressions of chance, but processes related to the self-preservation and propagation of the species and the race and subject to the laws of Nature, even if people are not conscious of the inner reason for their actions."

I found this quote on three sites, two blogs and one movie. that movie was belive it or not: "Expelled: no intelegence aloved"

I knew there was something wrong when i saw "Adolf Hitler, Fuhrer, 1925"
Since he didnt give himself the title of Fhurer until 1933 i belive.

Who said Hitler was an atheist?

Must I remind you that quote mining DOES NOT WORK.
Why? Because you deny reality regardless of historical facts?

Denial of history?
Indeed. Why are you afraid of actual historical quotes?

No race is more superior than the other. White people have no "bonus" or "advantage" over black or asian.
