well, I just watched....if everyone's eyes aren't a bit more opened @ Russell during the first tribal council then they will continue to keep the blinders on....they may be letting him slide because they think they need his strength in the tribe....too bad they don't really know how much he is hindering them. He is like poison!!!

He really is. I don't see the strategy that comes with emptying canteens and burning socks. That's just mean to be mean.

I'm surprised Producers didn't saying anything about destroying other people's property (i.e. burning the socks).


I truly dislike Russell and he needs to go ASAP! (hmmm must be the name, didn't like Russell on BB 11 either)

It's great to see some Survivor fans here. I've been watching, and I'm with those of you who don't like Russell. He's got such an evil personality, but to me it seems as if he's one of those guys that acts that way to make up for heartache he's had in life. My flesh instincts are to hate that guy, but my spiritual instincts are to pray that there is a Christian somewhere on that island who will lead Russell to Jesus. I've never seen it happen on Survivor before but there's always a first time for everything.

Aside from that, wow I can't believe how gullible those women are that keep falling for Russell's lies. I really liked Betsy, and sorry they voted her off. I don't have a favorite yet. I'm still figuring it out.

A couple of Survivor firsts last night - first kick out of a challenge, and as best I can remember the first time someone found the hidden immunity idol without a clue by actively looking for it. I seem to recall someone stumbling on it well into the season, but by accident.

Yeah, it is interesting that he found it and they were there....maybe the crew knew if someone got close to the tree to film them.
But he also told his team what he was doing and no one was suspicious?! What is up with that?

My husband said that he thinks that Russell reminds him of a leprechan! We laughed! But it is true---look at him next time. But to me he is more like a troll under the bridge!

Russell is a cancer in the tribe. Let's hope the other's catch on and get rid of him. So far he's engineered the ouster of 2 people who didn't deserve to go. And now he has the immunity idol. I think the guy he shared that with needs to get together with the others and hatch a plot!
