Had the return of Israel to their homeland in 1949 not come as fulfillment of prophecy, then they would never have survived the Six Day and Yom Kippur wars.

In addition, are you suggesting that Israel is yet to go into another Diaspora --- so that the true prophecies can be fulfilled?

Leviticus 18 says that God exterminated those nations because they were doing things like committing incest, enganging in beastiality, and sacrificing their children. God didn't just indescrimanately destroy people, but did so because they were doing evil.
