CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Has anybody ever seen the musical "Spring Awakening"? (it's dirty and raunchy and the only reason I actually watched it is because I know the guy who was the lead in the touring cast!!) There's a song in there that has a line I have been singing over and over in my head... "I don't do sadness."
Not yesterday but the Saturday before, my friends Cassie, Katie and I went back up to the tulip festival and I took more pictures of tulips. I am consciously not dwelling in my sadness, because it has been overwhelming me to the point where I don't know how to function.
That looks like an endless sea of pink tulips. Pink flowers of any kind make me so happy
I really like pictures where something in the front is in focus and the stuff in the back is blurry, and I don't know how to consistently do that.. so whenever it randomly happens like in the above picture, I get really excited!!

What kind of camera are you using? If it's a regular point-and-shoot digital, most of them have a macro mode on them. Putting it in macro will give you the focus up close with the background a bit blurry.
