  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I played on hard mode, so I was like level 70 or so when I did it. I played by myself as Guy, so Jade would get owned trying to melee. I leveled up a bit and got a glitch where I could do the character second level overlimits, which was fun. It's a lot funner to play with someone else. When I played Symhponia I was Genis and well, *evil smile*
I played Tales of Vesperia with someone else too. It's also easier to play with someone else.
Though the computer as a healer is WAY better than a human playing healer (believe me, I know)

And who in their right mind would use Natalia? :D :p

I will play Tales of Vesperia, but only when it comes out for the PS3 :D The glitches and horrific loading times are whats keeping me from playing anymore of Abyss.

Natalia was fun to play with, just not as a healer. I would put tear and Natalia in and just go as her. (You get a really strong weapon for Natalia pretty early on, which is why I took up her bow.)
Really? I found her attacking REALLY weak compared to the likes of Luke and Guy, and Jade's attacks were sometimes slow but they were good at stunning enemies and doing specific elemental damage. Natalias was just a weak bow and a nerfed healing. She was EXCELLENT though for healing in the menu screen inbetween battles :D

I have and am still seriously considering the monastic life actually :). Been thinking about it since I was 17.
dear sister, I hope you did not think I was making light of the topic, just kidding around with the young ladies who are not thinking about that vocation

Does this mean I can count you as a member of Team Celibacy? We're tanking over here.

Are you asking me on a date? :o

:p

Completely kidding.

Ask me in a few months whether or not I want to be on that team. I'll talk it over with God ;)

You remind me of a certain gal whom I got to know via a long distance relationship. After months of planning, I traveled halfway across the country to meet her in person.

During our first meal together, she suddenly surprises me by saying "You know, I've been watching that catholic channel and I'm thinking about becoming a nun." :o

I've always been amazed at how many gals say they want to be missionaries or work in some other religious environment, and then the moment they meet someone they like, that plan goes out the window. Then the guy breaks up with them, and it's back to the missionary talk. Some gals have gone through 3 or 4 cycles of that. So now I understand that when a gal decides to be a missionary or go to "bridal college", she is probably just passing time.... and trying to bribe God into meeting Mr. Right. ;)

ZERO calling for that, here. I like me some men, thank you very much. No nun-flip flopping. But sometimes I get hardcore urges to be a pastor. Feel free to crucify me now, all ye Corinthians 14:33-35 reciters and Timothy-criers. And no pun intended, for real.
