So, then hyper evolution and rapid continental movement is cool with you? Or are you talking such minor in bowl changes that you might as well forget about it?Its ironic. Creationists at one point thought the world was was immutable. That it was always in its present state. however, It was scientists that deserved that the universe changes over time.
Its not science that relies on a present state universe, its creationists.

One. The head is not where the soul resides.
It's too bad I have to clarify, isn't it?I'll be happy to answer, AV, but first, I'd like to ask for a little clarification.
I don't know all your doctrine (beliefs), as I don't think like an atheist --- but two come to mind:Firstly, what is this "atheist doctrine" you speak of?
I thought 100% of atheists also embrace evolution? As far as I am aware, there is no common belief amongst atheists other than they lack of belief in God.
I wouldn't know --- thus I'm asking. There is certainly no agreement among atheists about the existence of souls.
Not from a Christian perspective --- I simply want to know if it is taught in any science classes as existing. If not, the definition is moot. In fact, if you would have responded, "yes" --- I was going to ask you what it is?Secondly, could you define "soul" for me?
Just the scientific one(s). However, I'm getting the impression that it is NOT taught as something that is real, and so I believe my question has been answered. There are many different definitions used by different people, and I'd like to make sure I know which definition you are using.
Hooray for the Bible --- this has NOTHING to do with It. It is a science question.Anyway, the Bible itself says that there isn't anything that raises mankind above the animals.
My definition for soul, in this thread, can take a hike --- you're turning the question around on me, and I'm not going to go there. It seems that no matter what definition you use for "soul"...
I thought 100% of atheists also embrace evolution?
I find this statement very hard to accept.Although the percentage most certainly will not be 100%...
I find this statement very hard to accept.
What does this have to do with what we're talking about? The reason why so many Atheists accept Evolution is because ALL the known data from all kinds of different scientific fields supports it.
Did you make that up or did someone actually tell you that? What does this have to do with what we're talking about?
Let me say it again: 100% of Atheists accept Evolution.
And backing up even further --- here's my whole point:
Atheists have two doctrines that I know of:
- Evolution
- There is no God
What does this have to do with what we're talking about?
Let me say it again: 100% of Atheists accept Evolution.

AV1611VET, look up the definition of Atheist in ANY dictionary.
answers.com said:The doctrine that there is no God or gods.
There's a lot that most atheists agree upon. That doesn't make it doctrine. SorryWhat does this have to do with what we're talking about?

Once you do, this forum awaits your reply to inform us you've made a mistake by making the definition of Atheism appear very different than what it actually is.
Enough's enough.See how it nowhere says anything about evolution?
We're ready for that statement now.
