Adimus, no offense, brother, but no Chrisitian knowing even basic theology would make this mistake, let alone the deep theology you want me to believe you have.Originally Posted by adimus

Try looking up --- it's in Heaven now.
Just looked up. Only see a few clouds.
Heaven is up? Which up? China's or ours? Or Israel's? And at what time of the day and which exact day would that particular "up" be correct in the direction of heaven?
Revelation (where you get that idea) is full of meaningful symbolism.

There are three "heavens" mentioned in the Scriptures --- can you name them?
And I didn't get it from Revelation --- I got it from 2 Corinthians.
You must have missed class that day.
There are no "three heavens" mention in 2 Corinthians --- just "third heaven".The three heavens in 2 Cor are not identified except for the third- heaven where God and the angels are (apparently).
QV please --- 23.Paradise as a symbolic term for heaven was the traditional popular Jewish cosmology of the day. There is nothing in the Bible that says that God moved the Garden of Eden to heaven for some reason.
Consider me "stumped".And I take it you are again stumped or you would address most of the other bake breaking points I addressed in my last post to you.

Garden of Eden = ParadiseNow where is the garden of Eden supposed to be in those verses? You said that this passage was the proof.
Garden of Eden = Paradise
Then how did it get from next to Hell, separated by a great gulf (Luke 16), to Heaven (2 Corinthians 12)?Notice that the word paradise is not in there anywhere:
8 Therefore it says,
When he ascended on high he led a host of captives,
and he gave gifts to men.
9 (In saying, He ascended, what does it mean but that he had also descended into the lower regions, the earth? 10 He who descended is the one who also ascended far above all the heavens, that he might fill all things.)

Excepting science?True Christians are people that don't know everything. Therefor we are obviously allowed to disagree about things.
As I have pointed out, the parables of Jesus weren't something that He just sat and thought up.It never was next to hell. That was a parable and nothing more.

I believe those things He talked about really happened.
Same with the book of Proverbs.
Since proverbs means pro [with] verba [words] --- Solomon isn't just making these up.
They are things he actually experienced in real life.
