The Mindset of Liberals

Now that I've watched the video... it's awfully silly... but not nearly as distasteful as someone saying a "negro is a 2nd stringer" or the "blacks will take over" and "he thinks white people are trash" Granted the video on that silly website (thanks for the link though it allowed me to give another page on that site a thumbs down on stumble upon)
Didn't include actual interviews with those expressing their dislike of McCain perhaps some of them would have said equally distasteful things about McCain.

Guess I have my priorities messed up, I will now correct myself, go hate on liberals, Obama's middle name, and what some old man was doing in the 60's when Obama was a little kid.

Most libs I know are simply open minded people, who work and thrive within the very boundaries of society in which they seek to have an opinion on. Much like gasp, the conservatives I know work in.

I find that when rhetoric means more than results, and ideology means more than ideas, you can very easily create moral decay. And I get this funny feeling that neither the very left or very right are innocent of that.

I think I'll stick to the idea that people who think they are the special apes of a super being are not people I know if I can trust.

And I imagine that those who are upset about Republicans getting booed would like "liberals" to accept that those who say less than pleasant things about democrats or democratic candidates are not speaking for ALL conservatives/republicans and their candidates.

Like the guy in the "Line to Nowhere" video who shouted, "they should pay double!" about Palin making Wasilla women pay for their own rape kits. That really made me want to cry. Even if he didn't mean that, what a horrible thing to say.

Either way, people really don't need to be protesting events. I didn't like seeing that people were protesting outside a McCain speaking engagement any more than I liked seeing McCain supporters protesting outside of an early voting precinct where a good majority of voters had just left an Obama rally.

Here are my very unscientific observations of Liberals and Conservatives on CF:

I tend to find liberals are far better at looking at the big picture, taking in new information, and generally seem to be very much more reasoned, logical and more thoughtful than their counterparts.

Conservatives, as their name might suggest, stick to their guns, are not as questioning, ignore information that might contradict them, ignore difficult questions but they really do excel at providing passionate arguments even if they do have little thought reason or logic behind them.

It's not an uncommon sight to see conservatives being trounced by liberals in debates, which has probably made me adopt a more liberal outlook than in days gone by, after all, I'm going to take in the arguments that I perceive to be the most reasoned, anyone would be silly not to.

I've done a quick bit of research, nothing too intensive, and came up with these articles.
