You know what, i need to hear from all your comments to see how you feel about this or that feature... i'm happy to see that this is not just whinning about something that was taken away...

I think i will do something, just for testing... not that i play a game, but hey, nobody is perfect... i've checked the last searches logs and trying to see what was searched... nobody was searching the posts of another user for the last 3 days... so what will i do ?!... simply lock down that feature globally... the only way it will be active is for YOU to search YOUR posts..

in the next days i will take care to see if we can have a different point of view, but i don't think a permission have to be set on this, just see if it is useful.

Am I reading this right? It sounds like you are turning off the "search all posts" feature globally. But I just tested it and that's not the case. Just wondered if I'm missing something or maybe you haven't had a chance to do that yet.

BTW- I do appreciate all of the hard work everyone has put into the upgrade. This has been my one gripe.

While your fixing the Rep power to Rep points

Can you also fix the fact that our Rep power is in effect 50 points when we rep instead of what our actual rep power is???

having some protected forums on the site is supposed to be managed by permission based on your choices, gender, age etc... and if it is not activated yet, it will be soon... someone is trying hard in the backend to make it happen. ....

Excellent. When I was new here, I wandered into the Women's Discussion zone accidentally, not realizing it was supposed to be ONLY for women. I only figured that out when I came across posts where women were saying things like, "Hey, there are men lurking in here!"

I don't care about being able to open or hide my profile. You can already limit so much of what you reveal in your profile. ...

Is this still true? If they are going to use Profile data about things such as age and gender as filters to block access to certain boards, doesn't it become mandatory that we include that stuff in our Profiles? (Of course, that keeps no one from lying.)

Actually i'm checking a feature that will let you control the search for who you want, like for selecting who can view your personal details and profile... the pages in when you Edit Profile or Edit Options are far from being clear these last days because of obsolete options and remains of the past... i will try to clear that out in the next hours...
