I need to keep a note pad for prayer requests - I have Rosey's mom, JD's family, Valentine's family/son & beloved's husband.

I'll repost this, I hope it helps--

There are several in this section of CF who need prayer. I thought I'd list them here. PM me if you want to add or change something.

Beloved--her husband is going in for an MRI today. The need is urgent.
Rosey's mom, and also prayer for her as her job changes.
Flat, his family and his uncle's family as they mourn Flat's uncle.
Springrain needs prayer for her health.
Viper has had problems with a cyst.
Ctay, an infection.
BellaSong is struggling with hurt from the past.
Edie needs healing
CoolMom has asked for more time with her sons.

Let us pray for them, knowing that we serve an awesome God.

I love the Lord because He has heard
My voice and my supplications,
Because He has inclined His ear to me,
Therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live.

I've taken to posting prayer in my blog - helps me remember

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe we could make a sticky thread for that purpose and people can post their requests and it can be updated on a daily basis (or every 2 or 3 days, however often the need presents itself.)

I think that's a terrific idea


This sounds strange (I know) but if we start a prayer thread - to get it stickied, someone has to report the first post and request it be made into a sticky. Simple enough.

I ahve 2 lists...1 at work and 1 at home...so a central thread is a great idea...'cause I know they all don't make both lists!

Just finished my thank you reppies....I won't get back on til last tonight.

My mom is back in the hospital. Sunday night when we celebrated my daughter's birthday, she was really acting strange. Thinking it was 1985, thinking she was 37 (she is 74), really not being herself and not making much sense. We went to the ER on the suggestion of her visiting nurse, who thought my mom might have had a stroke. So far, they discovered that her potassium level is really high (not a good thing) and her kidneys are a little more worse than before. She refuses to go on dialysis (sp), and has a multiple of health issues (congestive heart failure, diabetes, lung disease). I will be headed out to visit her after work. (would take off today, but I am training our replacements....it is all set up)

I was praying and remembered that Beloved needs prayer today, too. Her husband is going in for tests today, the need is urgent.

May you all be blessed as you seek the Lord today!

Yeah, I have a list, too. But I thought this is better. Now people can post their own requests. Then I and others can go through the thread and pray.

God does hear our prayer. I am convinced of it. I have seen Him heal so many times. He is so good!

I didn't know that you had started one, Bella. I'm glad that Edie told us how to get something stickied--and TwoB did it.

Please feel free to post anything else that needs to be added. I will be going through that thread on a regular basis, just praying through it. I'm sure others will, too.

I'd thought about it for a while too, but with so many people needing support right now, it seemed the right time to mention it "out loud" and stop thinking about it. Again, good job.
