Why don't you tell us James? Just how many different religions are there and how many different denominations in Christianity are there? We'd all love to know. A different denomination does not equal a completely different religion. Also, denominations can argue about secondary issues concerning Christian doctrine and teachings, without having to splinter off into yet another denomination. Why aren't you upset about the non-denomination denomination? That one was formed what, maybe 30 years ago? What was the reason for that one? Here's a hint, people didn't like being told they were sinners or being told that unless they repented of their sins they were going to burn for eternity. So what do the people do who don't like hearing that? They all leave and form yet another denomination that amounts to nothing more than buffet-style Christianity. A denomination where you can pick and choose what you want to believe. Don't like what you hear in one non-denom church, don't worry, there's plenty of non-denom churches in your town for you to pick from. You'll find one that will tickle your ears and tell you exactly what you want to hear. Read the posts in this forum, I've never seen two members of the non-denom church agree on anything, the teachings and beliefs are just too varied. DeanM's thread "20 Questions" is a great eye-opener to this reality.

Worse, HOW MANY ARE REFUSING TO GO TO CHURCH today!
What we're dealing with today are SELF TAUGHT novices who basically decide they don't need teachers or a Shepherd over them; despite that God set up the NT with that structure of spiritual authority over us.
How healthy are sheep left on their own, away from the rest of the flocks? IMHO, there's some rebellion going on; people decide they can know truth on their own, and completely DITCH God's system.
Pick up a Lexicon & they think they became overnight Professional scholars or something.
God put us under other's care until He returns - we're supposed to be in a NETWORK of other believers working together as one body - learning, growing & being taught.
I'm not seeing that today; people are deciding God's people are "___________fill in the blank", so they decide they don't need anybody else or something.
And if people are coming HERE to find a few people they agree with and consider that they're "learning", they need heavy Prayer!
Most of the ones I see here spreading so much hog slop are self taught people that reject church in general & I think that speaks volumes.
Do we have to be at church 24/7? NO... but being rebellious against it & refusing it is something else entirely and I see it alot from people here.
When God did His report card on the churches in Revelation, not many of them were "perfect"...
But where did God say "this church is doing wrong, LEAVE THE CHURCHES AND DON'T ATTEND ANYMORE - It's all corrupt!" (as if God can't work thru that? or reach people in imperfection?)
I have no doubt that many people who refuse to go & sit critically in objection to churches today expect that if THEY had a church, theirs would be the ONLY perfect one (speculation of course - but they act as if everybody's doing something wrong & denoms are so "evil"....

Are we not gathered here as Christians? But of coarse I do agree with you that we should not forsake the assembling (Church - Congregation) of ourselves. What church do you think I should attened? You know, I can't become a member of some churches because I don't support the trinity doctrine. And I also would prefer attending on Saturday. I also believe in keeping the commandments. Im also against any church thats involved with secret society.

You are correct, we are gathered here as Christians. But this is a man made assembly. The true body of Christ is a Spiritual assembly arranged by God. And we are all being taught by Christ in ways that transcend the human word.
Isaiah 59:21. That is God speaking about Zion, and how they and their children will always be speaking the word of God. More specifically Christians; and especially during the thousand year reign of Christ.
That is a literal fact but just thought I would interject that truth comes from the Word of God and not the word.
