sorry to disappoint , but we do not separate CHRISTIANS into true and not true. we find LIARS and disclose them!

Christianity is not a religion, it is a state of mind, a faith, knowledge of truth and blood in our veins.

The true believer in Christ KNOWS He is real. A true believer in christ will see the other like him

HOW can this board be run on "christian principals" when the nicene creed that was promised to stay, and the name of Christ is removed against majority vote and all this is founded on LIES?

If faith was a means to find truth then all the worlds faiths would also be true. It is clear that faith misleads.

faith has to be placed in a God that is true and their is only one true God.

No its not just a name... it was a standard as well. I have read myself where the people were promised here that this board would never forsake the nicene creed and it would REMAIN a christian board...

Amen . I agree. That is why we must not stop until the perception of negativity is defeated. We need the truth to be made clear here. It is so important.

If the Muslim, Hindu, and all the other "faiths" in the world also use faith to convince and reinforce their own beliefs then how can one know if their "faith" is really correct if it "feels" correct?

There are just beliefs people hold. If we can't look past them we are all doomed.

Just came back from my medical conference - it was an all day one. The polls were close - the initial post did suggest I change the forum name, and in fact, I got a PM the day before I changed the forum name asking me to change the domain name to remove the Christian bit.

I bought the domain name after the poll came out for me to change the domain name. Whether I was going to use it for this site or not was still undecided at that time - I had some options at that stage, and only one of them was to use that name for this site.

I don't believe I lied, and I'm sorry you feel that way. There was no intention to mislead - the intention was to radically change the scope of the site to be more inclusive, while retaining a Christian identity

I really do wish I could believe this. I seem to see Christians separating themselves by the method of "true Christians" and not "true Christians". I have even see it in this thread, Christians blaming all of this on the not "true Christians".

Erwin I would bet got a PM box full of this every time he came here. I would get sick of it all too. If the dream was to unite, it clearly isn't working.

seeing as it is Christ who has united us , all Christians belong to ONE body , it is not suprising the Lord takes it as an affront to see some attempting to unite what God has already been united by His SON.

If you want God's blessing , best not to undermine Him!

Divisions
divisions amongst Christians usually stem from immaturity , the same as divisions with married couples.




One of the reasons CHRISTIANforums worked so well , yes you can laugh .... is that Christians from all over the theological geographical spectrum are/were here , I could have gone and remained in a Dozen Calvinist websites but found debate and discussion with Christians who differed much more interesting and challenging ......... sword sharpens sword.

I pray the Spirit of the Lord will enlighten you to the difference because no words can describe what His revelation knowledge of Christ is like. It must be experienced.
