CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Because now the moderators cannot even question it or do anything about it whatsoever.
Like there is already a dude running around with a Christian icon stating there is no God..
You think it will not get worse?

What says they can't question or disagree? The rules might not be very stable, but I don't recall seeing that there yet.

Well, yes, but I'm convinced that CF will get rid of those who misrepresent their beliefs.Yes, they did.

Before I started posting here, I belonged to the ICQ Christianity board. There were some good people there, but the ICQ forums were constantly being harassed by trolls and "anonymous users". Even if a forum member begged for a moderator to remove the offending user(s), no action would ever be taken.
Here on CF, however, there are always moderators watching out for rude and offensive users. Even if someone did claim to be a Christian simply to harass other users, I doubt that complaints from those of us who are Christians would go unanswered as they did at ICQ.
(Note to mods: I'm not advocating or blasting ICQ here. I'm only using it as an example)

Yes you can, many religions do. They just don't beleive the Christian faith as in Jesus= EmanuelWell, that's just plain silly then isn't it. That person is obviously a troll and should be banned as you can't be Christian and not believe in God.

Read it again. A warning is now done by a pm, but no record is kept. They can't make someone change their icon. It was clearly stated that if you say you are christian than you are....
unbelievable.
Many people come here to start trouble already. Maybe it's not you, but there are those that are members that are non christian that come here to prove their right and Christianity is wrong. This gives them all the more opportunity and not a daggone thing we can do about it.

I will continue to keep those seekers and babes in Christ in my prayers, but the ravenous wolves have been released on unsuspecting sheep. Even young pre teens and teenagers will be here unaware..
