That symbol was on the first aid pack that Jack gave to the camping party. The other one is one the Bloomsbury cover for Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

This is very curious indeed. Ever since the cover art came out, everybody has been wondering what the symbol means because nobody can find it mentioned anywhere. And here it shows up on LOST. I wonder where they got the symbol from?

I always thought that meant Civil Defense?

I never heard of that, but I just did a GIS on it and you're right, there are several images like that representing civil defense.

Civil Defense is now Emergency Management . . .

Lost is getting better and better. I am desperate to know more about Naomi. I wonder if Penny will ever get to the island. After all she now knows where it is.

Will Charlie die in the end? I mean they keep teasing us so maybe he is not the one to die?

I'm thinking the same thing about Charlie. They seem to be leading us so much in that direction, that it probably won't be him.

First of all, I'm thinking that if someone BRANDS me...I'm going to try my hardest to get away from them. Just maybe, she thinks the same way.

(What is that brand about, anyway?)

And.......

Second, I thought of how she showed Jack the series of cards, asking him to let Ben die during the operation and make it look like an accident. That was before they branded her.

I think she has more and more reason to want to try to get away, in anyway she can. I really do think she's going to double-cross Ben.

There hasn't been a Charlie back story yet this season. I wonder if that's because he's leaving? Instead of two continuing to build his story, just one to end it in the next few weeks. I hope not.
