Over here in Aust. we had a tsunami warning (after an earthquake hit the Solomon Islands which is just north of Australia http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=257990)too which left beaches in Queensland and New South Wales closed.

Thank you Shadowcat for your prayers, you are very kind to remember all of us in your prayers. I did not realize you were from Austria. I think we have someone else from Austria but I can't remember who it is right now. I seem to be always behind catching up on the news but I did see the warnings about the earthquake.

Good Morning all! I so appreciate this thread, the needs being expressed and all the prayers going up. I can feel the Lord smiling over it.

I'll ask that you help lift a dear sister and her family (The Burkets) in prayer, her mama died last night. It's a very sad moment for our community.

Her family and friends need the strength and peace that only the Lord can give bring, during this time of preperation and grief. Praise the Lord she was a witness and ministered the gospel right up to the last and is now with our loving Father!

Yes, Praise be to God. Mrs. Burkett's funeral was the other day, and the family gathered together in such a way that emenated God's glory, there's much healing and unity that's being manifested there!!!

Thank you for your prayers, a powerful tool/opportunity the Lord has left for us, our utmost for His highest!

Praise God for his doing things man could not do. A man well known and loved by our family decided to go to church yesterday from prompting from no one but the Holy Spirit. Yes, miracles do happen everyday to those who expect them. Amen & Amen and yes Bonnie thank you for this borard.

Hi all, I wish I had a Praise Report but I have a Prayer Request - for me. At the moment I feel like I'm in a hole and there's no way of getting out. Three weeks ago, I was told I'd be at my place of employment indefinitely which I was pleased about but a week later when my supervisor's boss flew up from Head Office I was told I'd only be there til April 20. So it'll be back to jobsearching - a process that leaves me depressed and feeling low. That's not all. A couple of months ago, I went to the doctor who referred me for a blood test and ultrasound. The ultrasound was okay as was the blood test however neither explained one of the symptoms of why I went to the doctor in the first place so she referred me to a gynaecologist. Went to the gynaecologist who referred me for another blood test - I get the results on May 8.

Father I come before you with faith and thanksgiving for all the blessings you have given me. Lord I thank you that you have put me here with such loving people who has enriched my life in so many ways. Father I ask you to give shadowcat a peace that passes all understanding and a joy in her that can only come from you as she faces these things that are not certain. Lord I pray you will watch over her and bless her with a job and good health. May she walk in your shadow and may she never walk alone. Give her strength and courage to be the person you want her to be. In Jesus name I pray. amen
