  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

thank you all for your encouragement and support. this site and in particular this pet forums ahs really kept me above board so to say, knowing that I am counted on not only by the pet owners to look in on thier pets, but mostly byu a team that is hard working and very caring about the other team members.

yes I really think some walks are in store now that the weather is consistantly warmer and not a mucky mess of melting snow and stuff. besides a little rain that I can deal with, and overcoming the initial few walks that will likely incur some leg and back ackes as my body adjusts to more excercise after a long winter, I am sure that getting some sun, and vitamin D will definately help. I have been doing more cross stitch the last few weeks as well as getting busy here. the nice thing about cross stitch is it allows my mind to be open to meditation and prayer as opposed to pc graphics and work where I am 'thinking things through'. yes I need to get back to the word as well. with a reading disroder the best jump start for me with this is watching Joyce Meyers, which is the beginning of getting more involved again with self study in the word. I really appreciate your encouragement all of you and I know I am appreciated here at pet forums, like I siad, even though I was not very 'verbal' for a long time I was reading the posts when I could and I know that we have a very caring team. it takes a lot for me to open up and ask for support but I felt comfortable knowing that I would not be belittled or rejected here.

thank you all for your kind words and advice, and continued prayer.
Oh WOW J Meyers and cross stitch, two of my very favorite things!! Now I know you'll be ok. Have you ever tried plastic canvas??? Great also. Ever listen to Charles Stanley, on Sun. He is so grounded in the word and is so strong for the Lord. He has a good book on the Holy Spirit, give you the title if interested.
Still praying
love ya

thanks yes I also have done plastic canvas - love the spead on finishing projects with it!!! I do crafts of all sorts. I actually have 3 wooden drawers that came out of an old mansion when they converted the built in closet to a pantry - they are very large and sturdy. I tacked in a shelf in each of them half way from front to back, removed the handles and sit them upright as shelves, filled mostly with tins that have a lot of craft supplies in them. I am actually quite the 'crafty' person.

I like to work with beads as well and actually came up with my own native american bead loom as well but havent worked on it in a while................this brings me to a thought for a new thread....brb

walks are really a good thing  never used to walk much (except to the busstopp...well that's 20 minutes there and the same back so I guess that's quite a lot) but in the UK I started walking more with the Dad of the family I was living with...we used to go for an hours walk each evening and I really enjoyed them...now I've starte dto go for walks round where I live as well...it's great - I take my mp3 player with me, listen to some worship music and just let the Lord talk to me :)

please also pray for my youth group...we had an awesome evening yesterday - had some missionaries from Venezuela telling us about the Holy Spirit and spiritual gifts and at the end they prayed for people....it was just awesome - I hadn't felt the Holy Spirit move in aplace like this since I came back from the UK...and now everybody is talking about it...those who were there are discussing it and telling all the ones that missed yesterday evening...we're going to have a youth day next satsaturday to talk about it as well....finally something is starting to move in Austria
