Amen, sister! Great reminder, and one with "no buts allowed!"Vegance is mine, I will repay, saith the Lord
-Romans 12:19
Knowing that I shouldn't seek revenge on others
Just because they deserve it
As that is God's time and it is up to Him
That how He will deal with those who trouble me
Will be in His will and in His time.
Not my will and time but HIS!!
"The kingdom of God is within you."Hi All,
I have been trying to find a thread that spoke about scripture not in a theological way but in a personal way...I am new to the forums so I might be overlooking it. I would like this thread to be about your favorite scripture and what it speaks to you. How does it touch your heart? What does it say to your spirit? How do you grow by remembering it? If you have more than one, then please post the ones you love.
This is NOT a thread to discuss theology or to tell someone they are wrong in how it speaks to them, but a thread to share out joy for God and how we grow based on His word!
Enjoy and share!

Romans 6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts.
I love scriptures like this becasue they keep me headed the right direction.
I will not obey the lusts of my flesh. I will crucify my flesh.
Sin doesn't reign in my life, Jesus does! He is Lord, and I follow Him
Amen! That is a great chapter. Another favorite of mine too.My favorite chapter of the Bible is John 15. It tells us to abide in Jesus and God. We won't bare fruit unless we abide in the Lord.
