Hi. Concepts of the "hell" in the Bible differ among the different sects/denominations of "christ-endom".
Also, why would Jews join Islam and believe in their concept of "hellfire" which is not much different than most of christianity's view of it? Thoughts?

This place was an actual place in the physical world that had a physical fire to reduce the levels of waste and the dogs went around searching for food. When two dogs fought for bones and whatnot
there were times when their teeth would grind and a high picth scream of the dogs. There was some much unclean stuff that the fire never went out in a physical reality. So then, dont become worthless so you dont get thrown in there
be renewed in the image of Jesus so that you become a completed creation of God that loves full all people in the face of their oppostion.
All the rubbish of Jerusalem was burnt here. Its interesting to note that Aceldama (Field of Blood) was here in this valley.
John 8:44 `Ye are of a father--the devil, and the desires of your father ye will to do; he was a man-slayer from the beginning, and in the truth he hath not stood, because there is no truth in him;

the devil, the one deceiving them was cast into the lake of the fire and of sulfur, the where also the wild beast and the false prophet and they shall be being tormented of day and of night into
the ages of the ages.

The old notion of the medieval hell, with its grotesque and endless torments, has been rejected very generally as something monstrously and blasphemously incredible. But for all who believe in the divine origin of man, his fall, resurrection, and subsequent immortality, there must remain the hope of happiness or foreboding of punishment, and the very uncertainty concerning the exact nature and duration of the latter makes the subject, for them, one of imperishable interest.
