No.

Only once. When I was much younger, my sister threw a toad at me between Sunday School and Big Church. It went down the front of my dress (how, I don't know) and peed on me. To get her back I threw a brick at her that afternoon.

I had this email from a friend asking for advice. He is deciding the vegetarian menu at a Ball to be held in October.
Which of the following would you choose and why?

Goats cheese parcel wrapped in leaves of cabbage, accompanied by a whole baked pear with balsamic vinegar dressing

Wild mushroom tartlet in a filo pastry basket in a roast pepper sauce

Baked broschetta with tomatoes, onions and pesto, flavoured with Mozzarella and a petit salad

Herb tagliatelle carbonara with a wild mushroom sauce

Stuffed peppers set on a vegetable stir fry

I have tried the baked broschetta and I wasn’t that impressed! The bread was basically a panini and it was very wet. Also it may be cold by the end of October and a salad based main may not be a good idea.

Given my love for cheese, this won't be much of a shocker. Either the Goats Cheese or Broshetta and Mozzerella. There are a few reasons. First being I <3 cheese. Then is the factor of not liking mushrooms canceling out the option for two of those choices. I am also quite picky on stuffed peppers. So since your friend wasn't thrilled with the broshetta from a previous experience with it there, I'd opt for goat cheese. Plus, goat cheese can be served warm or cold to follow with the appropriate serving temperature of the weather out doors.

Yeah, he got rained on, but he doesn't like blow-driers as they make him a bit frizzed out.
