Hey restore:
- I m reading a lot other religious things today, not sure why i feel more peace.
Quite a few years ago I was constantly teased at school when I moved school. I guess having no friends and being shy, I was an easy target. So bad was it for me that I would come home and cry and think how pathetic and stupid I was. But, then this undescribable feeling of peace, calm, and reassurance came over me.
I believe that it was God because I had no reason to feel any of these things when I was thinking about how stupid I was, depressed, and so on; I believe that God could be comforting you just as He did me and does to many other people all around the world.
- And i v done a lot bible study all my life. but i have been abused badly by my family too.
I am so sorry to hear that your family, who are supposed to be Christ's ambassadors, hurt you.

I can't imagine being hurt by my family; but I ask that you don't let them cloud your judgment about who God is. Can I tell you something? You what truly is the best thing about God? He won't hurt you. He won't insult you or put you down ... and He knows every bad thing you've done. He promises that He will always be with You and that He'll love you unconditionally regardless of what You've done. He promises to fix your broken life (and amen to that for me!). Which is something that I find amazing - He knows us better than what we know ourselves, all of our faults, problems, fears, failures, yet He still chose to love us.
I can't get my head around that truth. The God of the universe loves me that much that He sent His only Son to Earth to pay the penalty for my sins while I was His enemy. That is the true illustration of love, not that we loved Him first, but that He loved us and was willing to die for us while we were His enemies. You don't think that God loves you? Look at the cross at Calvary and you'll never doubt His love.
Apart from God, we are nothing but dust, a flower here today and gone tomorrow. But in Christ, we are the righteousness of God and His children whom He loves and whom He has a purpose for.
- I still with a lot confusion in head and heart, I do not know who I m.
You are someone who God loves so much that He would leave the other 99 sheep in the pasture to find you. You are someone so important to God that He sent His only Son to suffer and die a horrible death in your place. In Christ, you are a beloved child of God, co-heirs with Jesus!! You are someone that in Christ God wants to bless your life richly, He has plans for your life to give you hope and future.
- I was also seeking healing in different ways before for my emotion and health issues.
Have you heard of Joyce Meyer before? She was physically, emotionally, and sexually abused in her early life by her father and after suffering for 33 years the devastating effects of abuse God has exchanged her ashes for beauty and called her to help others allow Him to do the same for them. I honestly have never been abused don't know what you may be going through, but if I can make a recommendation to you? Get Joyce Meyer's book
Beauty For Ashes as this is a book that teaches you how to deal with the emotional pain of abuse and teachings that bring about healing. You should be able to buy a copy of the book at your local Christian bookshop, or, if like me, you love a bargin, try bidding for some on eBay
here.
I also suggest that you may want to see a counsellor or some other professional service like that if you are having trouble in getting over some ordeals in your life.
- And if there is God exsits, why only one God?
That is the hardest question that one could be asked and I honestly don't know; He "just is." I know that it doesn't sound like much of an answer, but that's the best that my finite mind can come up with when thinking about infinity and God. In fact, this is how God described Himself to Moses - "I am who I am." God "just is" and until we get to heaven, our finite minds will never understand this question ... unfortunately, as I'm one of those people who likes to have answers for questions...
I don't see any body in His tomb...

There are many evidences that I could point to in order to strength this point, but I am running out of space to type. I suggest that you read Lee Strobel's book
The Case For Christ for more information if you're interested.
Yes, He is alive and He is at work in the lives of Christians to transform the world for the better.
- How do u confirm He is alive , living, loving etc? How to confirm?
He is living because He is still working in people's lives, even your own. He is constantly changing us as Christians to conform the image of Christ in attitude, action, and thought. Granted, this isn't an instant process that happens as soon as we come to faith in Him, but occurs over our lives. I've still got a long way to go, but praise God that I'm not where I used to be. Obviously, God can't be working in people's lives if He's dead, so He must be alive.
He is loving because if He were not He would not have sent Jesus to take our place on the cross and He would have already poured out His wrath against sin upon us, rather than being patience with us giving us time to repent from our sins and turn to Him (2 Peter 3:9) before He judges the world again. His love is demonstrated in our lives daily with the blessings that He pours our way. The fact that you've got air and are breathing is one such blessing. That you've got food on the table is another, a place to sleep. Sometimes, our own lack of understanding or other wise gets in the way of God's blessings and blocks them. I've heard it said that when we get to heaven there'll be store houses of God's blessings that He meant for us to receive but we wouldn't take them.
Just as many people have this "big black empty hole" inside of them that they know deep down inside there's got to be more to life, so to do I personally "just know" that God exists. People try to fill that empty hole with a number of things, be it sex, drugs, alochol, porn, risk-taking, and so on, but it still remains. It's that feeling deep down inside of conviction that I know more certain than the sun rising tomorrow that He is real, that He died for my sins, that He rose again, and that He lives in me.
I will pray for you, restore. I hope that my response and the responses of others will further help you. Please don't hesitate to ask should you have any other questions or if you require clarification.
Kind regards and God bless.
From, Learning Serenity.
