Rebuke The Worldly Churches (1 Timothy 5:20)

Man, this one is gonna be a heavy one. But, here goes it.

Date
May 15, 2024 | Rebuking Worldly Churches
Verse
1 Timothy 5:20 (ESV): "As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, so that the rest may stand in fear."

Galatians 2:11-14 (ESV): "But when Cephas came to Antioch, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For before certain men came from James, he was eating with the Gentiles; but when they came he drew back and separated himself, fearing the circumcision party. And the rest of the Jews acted hypocritically along with him, so that even Barnabas was led astray by their hypocrisy. But when I saw that their conduct was not in step with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas before them all, ‘If you, though a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you force the Gentiles to live like Jews?’"
Explanation
1 Timothy 5:20 is a command from the apostle Paul to Timothy, instructing him to rebuke those who persist in sin in the presence of the entire congregation. The purpose of this public rebuke is to make an example and deter others from falling into the same sin. It also creates a fear of accountability and encourages a lifestyle of obedience to God's Word.
Galatians 2:11-14 is an account of an incident where Paul confronted Peter (Cephas) for hypocritically separating himself from Gentile believers when Jewish leaders arrived. Paul challenged Peter's actions, stating that if he, as a Jew, lived like a Gentile, he should not force Gentiles to live like Jews. This passage highlights the importance of maintaining the truth of the gospel and not compromising it for the sake of pleasing others or fearing their opinions.

A.W. Tozer's quote, "The church that can’t worship must be entertained. And leaders who can’t lead a church to worship must provide the entertainment", emphasizes the need for authentic worship within the church. When a church cannot engage in genuine worship, they often resort to entertainment to keep the congregation engaged. However, this can lead to harmful, secular practices being introduced into the church.
Societal Relevance
In modern society, some churches have resorted to including secular music or events into the sanctuary. One notable example was a church in Ohio, where a pastor kicked the Holy Bible in a game of football on the stage with the other church leaders, and then held a sacrilegious music performance of Wrecking Ball in early 2024. Nobody inside the church had the guts to call out the pastor’s actions.

However, in April 2024, a Christian men’s conference at James River Church in Missouri entered public notoriety when megachurch pastor John Lindell invited a sword-swallower (a former Las Vegas strip club performer) to perform an acrobatic stunt on a tall beam in front of thousands, sparking outrage. Pastor Mark Driscoll* spoke out when he quoted that the Jezebel spirit had entered the church: "Before the Word of God was open, there was a platform. It was a high place. On it was a pole, an ashera, the same thing that's used in a strip club by women who have the Jezebel spirit to seduce men. And in front of that was a man who ripped his shirt off like a woman does in front of a pole at a strip club".

In other words, Mark Driscoll spoke the truth, in front of the congregation, which pastor Lindell fought back with a perversion of scripture. Lindell misquoted Matthew 18, saying that Driscoll should have spoken privately. However, 1 Timothy 5:20 clearly states that to protect the church, it may be necessary to speak out when a wrongdoing has been committed by those who sin in front of a congregation. Remember, rebuking sin is necessary sometimes, in order to protect the sanctity of the church.

*Disclaimer: However, we must also realize that Mark Driscoll is not blameless, in fact, his church teachings have been cult-like. For instance, Mark Driscoll’s church (Mars Hill) uses surveillance on anyone who does not agree with his teachings. He has cussed out his staff members using profanity, as well as calling security out on anyone who disagrees with the conduct of the Driscoll family run church. In 2012, using the analogy of a bus for his church, Mark Driscoll used a threatening message “There is a pile of bodies behind the Mars Hill [church] bus”. So, in other words, the hypocrisy of Mark Driscoll is evident. Pastor Driscoll mandates loyalty of his congregation, or else he threatens his people in a similar tactic to how dictators control the populace in third world countries would. My mom told me the dangers of YouTube pastors, and explained that Driscoll has been running a cult for over a decade. In 2023, Reverend Dr. Caleb J. Lines preached a false teaching (5 minute video) – a blasphemy, stating that “God is trans” and “gay”, which the Bible clearly states that God made man and women in his image (Genesis 1:27). The congregation failed to rebuke him, as the church had an un-biblical ideology as a whole, similar to the Church of Laodicea (Revelations 3:15). As a Christian bi guy myself, I have made the decision to remain celibate/virgin unless married to a wife, in order to abide by the law of the Bible, abstaining from sin. Yes, some guys are really handsome, especially Asians, but God wants to protect us from sin and illness, which could be brought on by sexual encounters with the same sex. So, let us proclaim the truth, and live our best for Jesus.

To avoid and call out harmful, secular practices in churches, Christians should:
  1. Study God's Word and be familiar with the teachings of the Bible. This knowledge will help in recognizing and distinguishing between biblical and secular practices.
  2. Pray for discernment and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
  3. Encourage church leaders to prioritize genuine worship and biblical teaching.
  4. Speak out against harmful practices in a loving and respectful manner, following the example of Paul in Galatians 2:11-14.
  5. Fellowship with other like-minded believers and churches that prioritize biblical teaching and authentic worship.
Remember that change may not happen overnight, but consistent prayer and advocacy for biblical truth can make a significant impact in the life of one’s church.

Before the Big Bang

This just came across my feed.

Before the Big Bang, there was no up there was no down there was no side to side.

There was no up there was no down there was no side to side, there was no light, there was no dark, no shape of any kind. There were no stars or planet Mars or protons to collide, there was no up there was no down there was no side to side. And furthermore, to underscore this total lacking state, there was no here there was no there because there was no space. And in this endless void, which can’t be thought of as a place, there was no time and so no passing minutes, hours days. Of all the paradoxes that belabor common sense, I think this one’s the greatest this time before events, because how did we get from nothing to infinitely dense from immeasurably small to inconceivably immense. But before we get unmoored from the question at the start, let’s take a breath and marvel at when math becomes an art because we don’t have to understand it to know there was a time when there was no up there was no down. There was no side to side

Your Works, Your Thoughts, An Introduction

A Reprobate Mind, or the Mind of Christ, An Introduction

Proverbs 16:3 Commit your works to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established.

Your thoughts-[H4284] mahasabha=plans, devices, intentions, creativity.

This strikes at the very heart of redemption for fallen man to be re-established

in the image of the Son, through the mind of Christ.

Genesis 6:5
Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,
and that every intent(frame) of the thoughts(mahasabha) of his heart was only evil continually.

Fallen man became unable to frame his thoughts in accordance with the divine

mind of which he had been created, but had now corrupted.

Isaiah 55:

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts(mahasabha):
and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God,
for he will abundantly pardon.
8 For my mahasabha are not your mahasabha, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.
9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways,
and my mahasabha than your mahasabha.

In order to accomplish His intentions for the congregation in the wilderness, the Lord
had to provide a special dispensation of grace upon chosen men to receive His mahasabha.

Exodus 35:

31 And he hath filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding,
and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
32 And to devise mahasabha, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass.
33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of mahasabha.
35 Them hath he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver,
and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet,
and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise mahasabha.

By the time of Jeremiah, the people of Jerusalem were completely of a reprobate mind,
and unable to receive correction.

Jeremiah 18:

11 Now therefore, speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
Thus says the Lord: Behold, I am fashioning a disaster and devising My Mahasabha against you.
Return now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
12 And they said, That is hopeless! So we will walk according to our own mahasabha,
and we will all obey the dictates of an evil heart.

And yet, through it all, the Lord remained faithful to His future plans for His people.

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the mahasabha that I think toward you, says the Lord,
mahasabha of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

Noah's Ark, homing instinct: raven vs dove

ESV, Genesis 8:

5 And the waters continued to abate until the tenth month; in the tenth month, on the first day of the month, the tops of the mountains were seen. 6 At the end of forty days Noah opened the window of the ark that he had made 7 and sent forth a raven. It went to and fro until the waters were dried up from the earth.
Did the raven return to the ark?

Keil and Delitzsch explained:

The raven went out and returned until the earth was dry, but without being taken back into the ark, as the mountain tops and the carcases floating upon the water afforded both resting-places and food.
The raven did not return to its abode inside the ark. In contrast, the dove returned to Noah's hand.

NIV:

6 After forty days Noah opened a window he had made in the ark 7 and sent out a raven, and it kept flying back and forth until the water had dried up from the earth. 8 Then he sent out a dove to see if the water had receded from the surface of the ground. 9 But the dove could find nowhere to perch because there was water over all the surface of the earth; so it returned to Noah in the ark. He reached out his hand and took the dove and brought it back to himself in the ark.
The raven was not a clean bird; the dove was. The raven was content scavenging around the Ark, while the dove wanted to get back inside with Noah.

Biden's growing challenge:

From CNN Politics:

But now more positive retrospective assessments of Trump’s record in office are setting off warning flares for Democrats — especially as President Joe Biden’s own approval ratings remain stuck at historically low levels. In a CNN poll from April, 55% of Americans said they considered Trump’s presidency a success — a big jump from the 41% who viewed his presidency so positively when he left office in January 2021, according to a CNN survey from the time.

Were Paul's writings trustworthy?

Did Paul's words have the same authority as Jesus'?

Yes, when he spoke for Jesus. Galatians 1:

11 I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that the gospel I preached is not of human origin. I did not receive it from any man, nor was I taught it; rather, I received it by revelation from Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 14:

37 If anyone thinks they are a prophet or otherwise gifted by the Spirit, let them acknowledge that what I am writing to you is the Lord’s command.
In this bold statement, Paul asserted that his instructions carried the weight of the Lord’s command. He expected others to recognize his writings as authoritative and divinely inspired.

1 Thessalonians 2:

13 We also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.
1 Corinthians 9:

1 Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not the result of my work in the Lord? Even though I may not be an apostle to others, surely I am to you! For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.
Paul defended his apostolic authority, pointing to the fruit of his ministry among the Corinthians as evidence of his calling and trustworthiness.

2 Peter 3:

15 Bear in mind that our Lord’s patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction.
By equating Paul’s writings with the other Scriptures, Peter affirmed their divine inspiration and trustworthiness.

However, not every word of Paul was directly from Jesus.

1 Corinthians 7:

25 Now about virgins, I have no command from the Lord, but I give a judgment as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy.
2 Corinthians 11:

17 In this self-confident boasting I am not talking as the Lord would, but as a fool.
Paul's writings are considered trustworthy and authoritative by many Christians, particularly within the context of his apostolic role and the early church's recognition of his divine inspiration. However, it is important to distinguish between his direct teachings from the Lord and his personal judgments or cultural applications. Ultimately, the trustworthiness of Paul's writings is affirmed by their alignment with the teachings of Jesus, their acceptance as Scripture, and their enduring influence on Christian thought and practice.

Where were the 33 missing fish

John 21:11 Simon Peter went up and dragged the net to land, full of large fish, one hundred and fifty-three; and although there were so many, the net was not broken. NKJV

At the time of Jesus' meeting with the disciples above there were 153 believers in the world that would begin His church.

Acts 1:16 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples (altogether the number of names was about a hundred and twenty), and said, NKJV

Those present in the upper room at Pentecost were about 120. That leaves 33 unaccounted for disciples.

John 6:40 And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day." NKJV

Jesus said that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him would have everlasting life. There were many Jews from around the world that traveled to Judea for the many festivals during Jesus' ministry. Every one of those who received John's baptism and had Jesus pointed out to them are candidates to be the missing disciples.

Acts 18:24 Now a certain Jew named Apollos, born at Alexandria, an eloquent man and mighty in the Scriptures, came to Ephesus. 25 This man had been instructed in the way of the Lord; and being fervent in spirit, he spoke and taught accurately the things of the Lord, though he knew only the baptism of John. 26 So he began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. NKJV

Apollos was baptized by John the Baptist. There is a good chance that Apollos saw Jesus when he was in Judea being baptizes. It is very possible somebody pointed out Jesus to him as the man that John was referring to as being the Christ.

Acts 19:1 And it happened, while Apollos was at Corinth, that Paul, having passed through the upper regions, came to Ephesus. And finding some disciples 2 he said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" So they said to him, "We have not so much as heard whether there is a Holy Spirit." 3 And he said to them, "Into what then were you baptized?" So they said, "Into John's baptism." 4 Then Paul said, "John indeed baptized with a baptism of repentance, saying to the people that they should believe on Him who would come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus." 5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid hands on them, the Holy Spirit came upon them, and they spoke with tongues and prophesied. 7 Now the men were about twelve in all. NKJV

Here are 12 more candidates that may have seen Jesus and believed in him then went back to another country.

Biden release 14 second challenge to debate Trump - takes 5 times to get it right

President Biden was mocked by critics Wednesday over the number of jump cuts in his 14-second debate challenge to Donald Trump — with one wag on Twitter likening the brief video to “a Claymation film.”
The video of Biden, 81, was released at 8 a.m. and featured the incumbent taunting the former president to “make my day” by agreeing to a on-one-on debate.
“In a super short 14 second video, the Biden campaign needed to do 5 jump cuts because (word deleted) Joe couldn’t deliver a clean reading. Total disaster,” Trump campaign official Steven Cheung posted on X.
Question - if it took him fives time to get a 14 second comment out - how on earth will he handle a debate with no teleprompter?

Slovakia’s Prime Minister Fico in life-threatening condition after being shot multiple times (ETA: released from hospital)

The shooting took place after an off-site government meeting in Handlova. Fico was first transported to a local hospital and then taken by helicopter to a major trauma center in Banska Bystrica, about 30 kilometers away.

“There was an assassination attempt on R. Fico. He was shot multiple times and is currently in a life-threatening condition. The next few hours will be decisive,” said a statement on Fico’s official Facebook page.

The suspected gunman was detained at the scene by law enforcement officers, according to Slovakia’s state news agency TASR.

Nicodemus came to Jesus by night

John the Baptizer had a public run-in with the Pharisees (John 1:24, Matthew 3:7).

When Jesus publicly cleansed the temple, the temple authority confronted him (John 2:18).

John 3:

1 Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.
Nicodemus was a member of the Sanhedrin.

2 This man came to Jesus by night and said to him, “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God, for no one can do these signs that you do unless God is with him.”
Nicodemus respected Jesus, calling him "Rabbi".

Why did Nicodemus come to Jesus by night?

The Bible does not explicitly say why. I can only guess. By this time, there was increasing opposition and hostility towards Jesus among the religious leaders. However, Nicodemus did not share the same opinion as his colleagues. Though he was a member of the religious ruling council, it was not an official visit. He wanted to talk to Jesus privately to find out more about him. He came under the cover of darkness to avoid the daylight publicity. He just wanted a private conversation with Jesus without the crowd.

Looking for an editor/proofreader who can also format my memoir to publish on Amazon.

I am an Eastern Orthodox woman, looking for a freelance editor/proofreader to help edit, format, and self-publish my memoir.

Since I was about ten years old I’ve had glimpses into the unseen side of things. Visions, premonitions, and the like have been, if not commonplace, then at least unsurprising. I used to think all of these experiences came from benevolent realms. But now I see that some of them came from less than heavenly origins.

This memoir chronicles the peaks and valleys of my spiritual life, from my Roman Catholic upbringing, through the four decades I thought of myself as spiritual but not religious, to my arrival into the heart of Orthodox Christianity. Though I’ve made countless mistakes, the years I spent outside of the Church weren't fruitless, but provided a solid foundation for my journey toward God. They also gave me an inside view into the mindset of much of the audience I’m writing for: those who conceive of themselves as spiritual but not religious, and are taking a serious look at the Orthodox Church for the first time.

Fund churches that restore ex-LGBT

Ok, so the title is slightly misleading.

In my specific case, I was falsely accused of being homosexual. After several attempts to correct this, I've realized that I should have given up on this long ago.

So I'm thinking that maybe my best option is to move to a church somewhere on the east coast that has an LGBT recovery ministry, just like there are similar programs for believers suffering from substance abuse, etc.

Any suggestions?

Trustful Waiting and Enemy Loving Responses to Uncertainty and Vulnerability: Christian Psychology Soul Care in an Age of Conspiracy Rumors

In this article, we approach conspiracy rumor hubbub from a Christian psychological perspective. We argue that the anxious and angry participation in conspiracy theory discourse—even were such theories to be proven true—constitute two “off-the-mark” responses (namely, fearful-anxious and defensive- hateful rumor) to uncertainty and vulnerability, and that these responses flow from a distorted existential understanding of God as bad (i.e., untrustworthy, tyrannical, distant, condemning). Conversely, we also explore two “on-the-mark” responses (namely, trustful waiting and enemy loving) to uncertainty and vulnerability that flow from a biblical existential understanding of God as good (i.e., trustworthy, loving, near, generous).

Approaching Conspiracy Rumors through Christian Psychology Lenses

Continued below.

Life age-during (aka "eternal life") I give to them, and they shall not perish -- into the age...

Peace in Christ.

This is the witness: that God has given to us AGE-LASTING life ( now in this mortal body for the duration of this current evil age) in His Son Christ Jesus….the true Anointed Jesus.

This age-lasting life is not found in the name/authority of another “son” of the church fathers… “another jesus”…. that is being preached in all the ”church” denominations of men where they are all mortally perishing away to the grave. The receiving of the name/authority of their jesus the antichrist has no life in it.

1Jn 5:11-13
(11) And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal (AGE-LASTING) life, and this life is in his Son.

Only those who have the true Son of God has the age-lasting life. When we believe the name/authority of their “son” that they are preaching, we don’t have that life.

(12) He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

We are to believe on the name (authority) of the Son of (definite article: THE) the true God. We have “eternal life”….an age-lasting life…NOW. The age-lasting life that is to be had in the name/authority of the true Son of God is to be had NOW.

(13) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal (AGE-LASTING) life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

This is why we must confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus who is the true Jesus. We hear His voice and confess the Lord Jesus.

Their “another jesus” that the false prophets are preaching is not the true Lord Jesus. We must renounce their “jesus” by confessing with our mouth the true Christ (Anointed) Jesus.

We are to also believe in our heart that God has raised the true Christ (Anointed) Jesus from the dead so that we are saved.

If you think that living in this mortal body for the duration of this present age is impossible, then we do not really believe that God actually raised Jesus from the dead.

Nothing is impossible for the God of all flesh to do…including keeping us mortally alive until the end of this age where then we put on immortality at the “last trump”. When this moment arrives, then there will be no chance ever for dying. Death will be utterly defeated through the true Jesus Christ. Only when we are still mortal do we still have the chance of dying. But the just shall mortally live an age-lasting life by their faith until this mortal puts on immortality where death shall never be possible again afterwards.

Rom 10:9-10 KJV
(9) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
(10) For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

We must "work out" our OWN salvation with "fear and trembling" for the duration of this age....lest we perish while still being mortal (before the moment we put on immortality to be had at the end of this age).

Php 2:12-16 KJV
(12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
(13) For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
(14) Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

We shall shine as lights in this world. Why? Because we continue to mortally live in this world for the duration of this age. We are to be His many "infallible proofs" to this world as we continue to live. As He lives, we live in this world showing that He is alive from the dead. We show forth the Word of life....and that life is in His true Son.

(15) That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
(16) Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

Let him that thinks that he "stands"...that is, standing here in this world for the duration of this age...take heed lest he "fall"...fall into the grave by the destruction of our mortal body. The ends of the AGE come to us who are left standing here with the age-lasting life. We are to work out that mortal salvation with fear and trembling.

1Co 10:10-12 KJV
(10) Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.
(11) Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.
(12) Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall.

The true Son of God comes to give us an understanding so that we may know Him that is true and we are in Him that is true….even in His Son Jesus Christ. When we hear the voice of the True Son opening up the Scriptures to our hearing ears, we are to confess with our mouth that He is Lord…the true Christ Jesus who has the true knowledge.

Knowing the true God and the true Son Jesus Christ…who is the true Anointed Jesus that we are to hear…is the source of this age-lasting life (“eternal life”).

1Jn 5:20 KJV
(20) And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

We must confess the true Lord …the true Christ…the true Anointed Jesus.

2Co 11:3-4
(3) But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in THE (definite article) Christ.

For their “another jesus” that is being preached is not the Anointed Jesus.

It is the “antichrist” jesus….the instead-of anointed jesus that they are preaching to us.

There is NO age-lasting life to be had for those who receive the authority/name of the antichrist jesus…the anti-anointed jesus. Their preaching by Satan’s ministers of “another jesus”…a decoy jesus ….a device of Satan…is in the spirit of the antichrist. The true spirit/breath of Christ is not speaking in them. The spirit of the antichrist is instead.

(4) For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

No “guile” is found in the mouth of those who preach in the spirit of the true Christ Jesus. “Guile” = “dolos” which means “decoy, trick, bait”.

Rev 14:5 KJV

(5) And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

We are to confess Him before men……confessing Him before those of the “church” of men.

Mat 10:32-36 KJV
(32) Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.

(33) But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.

For a man’s foes are those of his own household….our own “church” we have attended. We must leave them so that they know that we love the Father. We confess the true Lord Jesus before them.

(34) Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
(35) For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
(36) And a man's foes shall be they of his own househol
d.

He comes to give us an understanding so that we may know Him who is the TRUE One. His sheep will hear His voice and will follow Him. They will leave their “churches” in order to follow Him.

John 10:27-28

(27) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

He will give unto us who will hear His voice “eternal life”…an age-lasting life NOW..so that we shall never perish (mortally perish) INTO THE AGE…this age.

(28) And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish (INTO THE AGE), neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:28
Young's Literal Translation
and life age-during I give to them, and they shall not perish -- to the age, and no one shall pluck them out of my hand;

Father Eduardo Chávez, director of the Higher Institute of Guadalupan Studies and postulator of the cause for canonization of St. Juan Diego, was recently confirmed as “master Guadalupan theologian” by Cardinal Carlos Aguiar Retes, the primatial archbishop of Mexico.

The decision was made May 9 in conjunction with the Chapter of the Basilica of Guadalupe in Mexico City, headed by its rector, Father Efraín Hernández.

Chávez, who also holds a doctorate in Church history from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome, shared with ACI Prensa, CNA’s Spanish-language news partner, his gratitude for this appointment, committing himself to “deepen knowledge of the Guadalupan event, to disseminate it throughout the world.”

Chávez noted that “the Virgin of Guadalupe places Jesus in the heart of every human being, of every culture,” so his work as master Guadalupan theologian is to convey this message as well as “deepen, investigate, analyze, and in so doing also form” more people in the “Guadalupan event,” as the apparitions of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico are also known.

UK author of transgender study: U.S. groups are ‘misleading the public’

An English pediatrician who led a comprehensive review of the safety and efficacy of prescribing transgender drugs to children is warning that health associations in the United States may be misleading the public.

In an interview with the New York Times published on Monday, Dr. Hilary Cass warned there is no comprehensive evidence to support the routine prescription of transgender drugs to minors with gender dysphoria.

Cass published the independent “Cass Review,” commissioned by the National Health Service in England, which prompted England and Scotland to halt the prescription of transgender drugs to minors until more research is conducted.

As England, Scotland, and other European countries scale back their use of transgender drugs for minors, most doctors’ associations and health associations in the U.S. continue to endorse these medical interventions. In more than half of the states in the United States, it is still legal to prescribe transgender drugs to children and to perform transgender surgeries on them.
