  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

New to Christianity how do I know catholic or protestant is right?

So the problem I have now not only am I psychopathic but I was extremely evil u could say worse than some Netflix documentaries I don’t feel remorse or empathy or love I only feel pain, pleasure, anger sometimes enjoyment, I was baptised under Church of Scotland as a baby so if I decided to become catholic I will have to confess all my sins to priest I can almost guarantee what he would here is the worst he has ever heard and most likely never forget a lot of the sins I have committed I also have committed so many since been a baby that it would be weeks maybe months of confession and even then I have done so much I will no way ever remember them all, or if I go the other way Protestant I pray for forgiveness myself and go to church 1 day a week on a Sunday? I just feel being a Protestant seems easier but that does not mean it’s the right path but then catholics believe if u die with even 1 mortal sin you go to hell currently that is unfortunately where I am headed even tho I believe I love Jesus in my own way and believe he is our saviour… honestly it’s a hard one and I want to be a good person I don’t want to be evil but I have been as close to evil than most people.

Canada spectacularly bends the knee to the U.S. as Trump scores major victory over the '51st state'

Canada Prime Minister Mark Carney has backed down on his end of the trade war and agreed to negotiate 'immediately' on a new agreement in a victory for Donald Trump.

The president announced a 90-day pause on all new 'reciprocal' tariffs, in a major reversal which caused one of the biggest stock market rallies in history.

He did not spare China, however, instead slapping Beijingwith yet another round of import taxes.

'Assassination Culture': Half of Left-leaning Americans say assassinating Trump, Musk is justified

A new survey reveals that about half of Americans who lean Left politically believe murdering President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk is at least somewhat justified as concerns mount about “assassination culture.”

The Network Contagion Research Institute and Rutgers University’s Social Perception Lab released a report Monday titled “Assassination Culture: How Burning Teslas and Killing Billionaires Became a Meme Aesthetic for Political Violence.” The data included in the report is based on responses collected from 1,264 U.S. adults. The main takeaway from the report is that, “A broader ‘assassination culture’ appears to be emerging within segments of the U.S. public on the extreme left.”

The survey, which comes at a time when Trump and Musk are facing ire for their efforts to trim the size of the federal government, asked respondents whether they thought murdering the two men or destroying Tesla dealerships that sell products manufactured by a company owned by Musk was justified. Among the whole sample, 31.6% of respondents maintained that murdering Musk was at least somewhat justified. That number rose to nearly half (48.6%) among Americans who identify as Left of center.

The UniteUS Movement sharing the gospel with thousands of US College students

Another signal fire of revival was ignited on an American college campus last night, this time at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

The UniteUS movement shared the truth of God's saving grace with thousands of college students at SMU. "Last night was special. There's nothing like lifting up the name of Jesus with thousands of college students," the ministry wrote on Instagram.

By the end of the evening, hundreds reportedly said yes to Jesus.

"God moved in Moody Coliseum as hundreds of students came forward to make a decision for Christ!" the ministry reported. "Freedom found. Lives changed. God is moving in this generation!!!"

Chad Prewett, husband of Tonya Prewett who founded UniteUS, confirmed, "Hundreds accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior tonight at Unite SMU!"

Hundreds accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior tonight at Unite SMU! pic.twitter.com/MsN0q8gVtu
— Chad Prewett (@coach_prewettAU) April 9, 2025
In early February, UniteUS kicked off their first outreach of 2025 at the University of Kentucky, which is just 30 minutes from Asbury University where the first sparks of a new spiritual awakening were seen among American students in February of 2023.

More than 8,000 students packed Rupp Arena to worship Jesus and to hear a powerful gospel message. More than 2,000 students responded to that message about Jesus Christ, and many took part in spontaneous baptisms.

Then, in mid-February, an Ohio State revival event saw 6,500 students gather in The Schottenstein Center, where hundreds once again responded to an altar call.

Last month, UniteUS reached students at Purdue University and West Virginia University.

MORE: 'God Was Exalted' - 4,500 Students Seek Jesus at Purdue University, Hundreds Saved

At WVU, 5,000 students sought Jesus together, and nearly 1,000 responded to an altar call in search of "life-changing salvation."

"We are blown away at how God moved tonight at the WVU Coliseum. Before visiting each campus, we pray and ask God to do what only He can do. And we saw that happen as the room filled up tonight with 5,000 students chasing after Him in Morgantown," Tonya Prewett told CBN News producer Talia Wise.

UniteUS was birthed out of a desire to "lift the name of Jesus," and it gained rapid momentum after its initial outreach at Auburn University's Neville Arena in September 2023, where 5,000 students showed up to worship Jesus and 200 were spontaneously baptized in a nearby lake.

The evangelistic college campus movement is marked by worship, salvations, and water baptisms, and while it's been garnering national attention for nearly two years, Prewett says it's all about bringing glory to Jesus Christ.

She told CBN News last year that it is truly "a move of God."

"I'm not capable of doing this, we're not capable of doing this, it's the hand of God. It's way bigger than us," Prewett explained.

The next UniteUS outreach will be held at Baylor on April 15.

The Stock Market Manipulator in Chief?

The liberal media just doesn't recognize genius when they see it! Read "The Art of the Deal", folks. All of this was absolutely necessary to bring jobs back to America! We will win!

Trump administration accused of ‘market manipulation’ with tariff reversal

Donald Trump told the world to “be cool” as his sweeping import taxes took hold, tanking global markets and sending shockwaves through the U.S. economy.

Then, minutes after the opening bell on the New York Stock Exchange, Trump announced: “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY!!!”

Four hours later, the president reversed course. He paused and lowered tariffs on goods from most nations for 90 days while raising tariffs on imports from China to 125 percent. Markets soared. White House officials — who just one day earlier said Trump would never back off — said “this was his strategy all along” and “the art of the deal” at work.

Social media erupted with accusations that the president played a reverse “pump and dump” scheme with the American economy: driving stock prices down only to buy them up before prices rise again. Democratic Senator Adam Schiff is calling for an investigation into insider trading.

...

On X, the Trump campaign’s War Room account asked: “Did the Panicans listen to @POTUS’s advice this morning?”

The post – referencing Trump’s made-up word for “stupid” and “weak” people who don’t support his tariff plan — included a screenshot of the president writing “THIS IS A GREAT TIME TO BUY” on his Truth Social account.

If the world (countries-wise) is in the majority on something, that doesn't have to mean it's correct, right?

Hi. I'd like to know if you think that when the majority of "the world" (that is, a group of countries) has a stance on something, if we can reject it even though the "world" in the Bible is not necessarily the same thing "geographically," but metaphorically.

There is a political issue and I don't want to mention it because it would probably be more suitable on the OBOB Politics forum, but since I don't have an article, I'm just posing a general question.

My dad is complaining to me about a political issue (I don't feel like mentioning it because I'm not knowledgeable enough about it) in which the world is all against this one particular thing, and my dad is siding with the world, but I oppose what the world is saying. He tried to convince me that the world is correct, but I told him that "the world" is irrelevant to me (thinking, in my head, the "world" of the Bible).

However, can the notion of the "world" of the Bible be used to be against what the literal world (i.e. group of countries) stands for on certain issues?

New and confused

Hello,

I'm a single guy in my 30's who's returned to the Roman Catholic Church after being away for many years. I've attended mass a few times, I've gone to confession twice, and I've taken the Eucharist once. I've also been trying to study the Bible, too. However, I've already become exhausted. There are so many rules and regulations within Catholicism, and while I appreciate the conciseness of it, along with the tradition and many holidays and celebrations it has, plus the absolute reverence and serious and plain take it has on the Eucharist, I feel so bogged down by the dogma, specifically mandatory confession for the removal of mortal sins. I think I may suffer from scrupulosity, so I feel like I always have to be "good enough" or "perfect" to follow God. I try to catch myself before I sin, or I see sin everywhere when there is none. I've been watching Youtube videos on this topic from priests and lay people, and that's helped, but there's always something in the back of my mind that tells me to be perfect or otherwise I should just give up.

I'm also gay, and I know what the Bible says and what the Catholic Church teaches about homosexuality. I'm not here to debate that, but it does contribute to exhausting me out because I constantly feel like I'm not good enough to be in a relationship with God because of it. It's like I have this stain on me that blocks me from having a relationship with God. For context, I have not had any sexual relations with men (or women for that matter) for at least a year, if not more. There's just this voice inside of my head that says it's not even worth trying to follow God if I have this one thing that's in the way. I know I can't change my sexual feelings and desires, and part of me is coming around to the idea that having sex with men may not be natural and against God's order, or at the very least there is no value in it (I know the bible says it IS sinful and unnatural, but I haven't within myself aligned with this yet), and I think that if I truly didn't care about what God wants from me, I would still be living in sin and giving myself to men, but I don't know what to do with all of that if I will always be gay (meaning I will always feel attracted to men and not women).

All of that is to say, do I leave Catholicism to join a Protestant denomination that does not hold to venial/mortal sins, and one that does not interpret the Bible as condemning same sex relationships? I love Catholicism because it's where I grew up. I went to Catholic school, I was an altar server, and there is so much beauty and truth in it, but I'm just so confused. This is why I decided to join the forum. I need to speak with others about this and listen to their opinions. I also want to form sincere friendships with other Catholics and Christians that are not a part of the progressive movement going on in Christianity because there is so much of it that I don't agree with.

Thank you for reading this.

Why didn't Jesus tell the rich young man about saving by grace?

Mt 19:

16 Behold, a man came up to him, saying, “Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?” 17 And he said to him, “Why do you ask me about what is good? There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments.” 18 He said to him, “Which ones?” And Jesus said, “You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, 19Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” 20The young man said to him, “All these I have kept. What do I still lack?” 21 Jesus said to him, “If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me.” 22 When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
Why didn't Jesus tell the man plainly about saving by grace as Paul did later?

  1. Jesus met the man where he was spiritually, using the law to expose his sin and self-righteousness.
  2. Jesus’ teaching style often involved indirect revelation, inviting people to wrestle with their own hearts.
  3. Grace was implicit in Jesus’ invitation to follow Him, though the man failed to accept it.
  4. Grace is best understood when we recognize our inability to save ourselves.
  5. The full revelation of grace through faith was still unfolding and would be more fully explained after Jesus’ resurrection.
Jesus didn’t explicitly mention grace in this conversation because He was addressing the man’s self-reliance and love of wealth. The encounter ultimately highlighted the impossibility of earning salvation and the necessity of divine grace. The rich young ruler needed to acknowledge his spiritual poverty before he could receive the free gift of salvation (Matthew 5:3). Jesus’ method here aligns with His broader teaching that one must "deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me" (Matthew 16:24)—a call that demands humility and dependence on God’s grace.

Do you believe that Trump has an ACTUAL plan?

It's getting difficult to even know what tariffs are in place in Canada at this point. Trump has turned tariffs on and off, what are we on, about 3 or 4 times now?

It seems reasonable to ask this question.

I am NOT asking about what Trump wants. IT's been outlined MANY times...he wants to bring manufacturing jobs back to the US. That is his VISION.

This poll and thread are about whether you believe he actually has a PLAN or if he's making it up as he goes along.

His own people are unaware of what is happenning.

If you DO believe he has a plan, I'm curious to hear how you believe the "on again off again tariffs" strategy is meant to further his plan.

For the days will come upon you when your enemies will barricade you and surround you and hem you in on every side.
They will level you to the ground - you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation from God.”
Luke 19:43, 44

Why does Jesus weep at the scene he foresees, of wayward Jews being slayed, along with their children?
Jesus says, they brought it on themselves, yet, Jesus wept.... Literally shed tears, at the destruction these ones would suffered.
Why?

What does this tell us about God's feelings - his pain of heart over those who suffer... even wayward ones?

I wonder why people want church again?

I could guess, but I do also wonder if they will ask people what is unattractive about the C of E...

What is the Christian Philosophy and What are Christian Ethics

What is the Christian Philosophy and What are Christian Ethics

1) If you were asked to provide a single thesis statement defining or describing the "Christian philosophy," what would be your version of that statement? Try wording it in a single sentence but, for the sake of this discussion, I'll allow but limit the definition to one to three sentences.

2) Using the definition provided, what would you list as the basic points of Christian ethics. List the principles you think qualify as the ethics of Christianity. For the sake of this thread let's make the list at one to ten principles in length.

Please do not merely quote scripture unless the verse quoted explicitly uses the word "ethic." Use scripture to support any statement by citing the text reference in parentheses ().

Here is an example of what I am requesting using US political conservativism:

Thesis statement:

Conservatism is a political philosophy that seeks to preserve what has proven to work in society.

Ethical Principles:

  1. Following the Rule of Law with the Constitution being the chief authoritative statement of that Law.
  2. Mistrust of Power
  3. Limited federal government, as stipulated by the Constitution.
  4. Majority rule with an obligation to preserve and protect the rights of any minority.
  5. Fiscal responsibility.
  6. Change effected gradually based on what has previously proven to work, specified goals, and confined to the stipulations of the Constitution.
  7. Reliance on all the institutions of society as viable agents of change rather than a sole reliance on the government as the chief agent of change.

I could make that list a little longer but that will serve as an illustrative example for what is being requested in this op. The point being that policies are not principles. Policies are governed by principles, not the other way around. Maintaining a balanced budget is not a principle; it's a policy arrived at through the application of already existing principles. Deciding whether or not to implement law prohibiting panhandling on traffic medians is not something a conservative would/should support if there already exist laws prohibiting that conduct. This is because there is a governing principle that restricts the expansion of government and the enforcement of existing laws over the addition of new laws that are unnecessary.

And please do not get distracted by this example. This op is about Christian philosophy and Christian ethics in the Christian Philosophy & Ethics board. Feel free to quote my content and paste it into an op in the Politics board. Have that discussion there. Thank you.

Are we more biblically illiterate than ever?

For most Christians with any knowledge of the people who live and work in their community, the answer to the question “Are we more biblically illiterate than ever?” seems obvious: of course we are. You may not know that statistical evidence backs up your anecdotal belief. Surveys are helpful in potentially increasing our already firm conviction and providing a deeper understanding of growing societal unbelief. That is precisely the aim of this brief article, which will examine a few more extensive surveys that chart and track biblical literacy over time for both the US populace and professing Evangelicals as a demographic.

One thing to note about our titular question is that everyone has a different definition of biblical literacy. Is it reading the Bible a few times a year? Is it knowing Bible facts? Is it knowing how someone can be saved by grace through faith in Christ? Is it professing the fundamental doctrinal truths Christians have professed for hundreds of years? Even polling organizations don’t have a single definition. To summarize some of the statistical data, we’ll define biblical literacy in two ways: biblical knowledge and theological accuracy.

Biblical literacy as biblical knowledge

Charles Koch to the Rescue

Our knight in shining armor, defending the fnancial solvency of the 99%, is an unlikely hero--Charles Koch, financier of almost every Republican legislator in the country.

He's suing over tariffs. What great news! Trump's obedient legislators, voting in lockstep with his every wish, will now have to decide: "Who will I vote with? The president, who is becoming more unpopular by the hour but who could threaten to primary me, or Charles Koch, whose deep pockets have kept me in Congress for years?"

Of course, they'll choose Koch, and hopefully take back their rightful power to rescind the tariffs!
"A tariff is a tax on Americans’ commerce with other countries," the New Civil Liberties Alliance wrote in its legal complaint, filed on behalf of Simplified, a Florida-based business that sells organizational tools such as paper-made planners. "The Constitution assigns Congress exclusive power to impose tariffs and regulate foreign commerce."

Jim Rickards: New Economic Boom Starting In May (act Fast)

The New Civil Liberties Alliance, which is affiliated with prominent right-wing legal activist Leonard Leo's network, describes its mission as combatting "unlawful administrative power."

And so even in the unlikely event that the Courts would rule against Koch's eminent common sense, the politicians he's financed for generations will abandon Trump.

This is the first good economic news I've heard in weeks!

The Epoch Times and the Falun Gong

In the runup to the 2020 election, a small right wing news organization called the Epoch Times saw an opportunity and seized it. They directed millions of dollars in advertising toward supporting the Trump campaign and published dozens of articles in it's newspaper parroting almost every Trump talking point. They published so many stories that proved untruthful that they were banned from advertising on Facebook, but that didn't deter the far right faithful who flocked to support the organization. Now, what started some 20 odd years ago as a small, insignificant organization primarily geared toward a campaign against the CCP, had become one of the country's most successful and influential right wing conservative news organizations. They were the #2 poster of pro-Trump ads (behind only the Trump campaign) on Facebook before being banned. The Epoch Media Group also operates the New Tang Dynasty (NTD) television network.

According to their tax documents, between 2019 and 2021 their revenue grew by 685%. Their unwavering support of the Trump campaign brought them a bonanza of contributions from big money right wing supporters and they now claim to be the country's 4th largest newspaper by subscriber count. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. calls it one of his most trusted news sources. Rep. Ralph Norman (R-SC) recited the history of the Epoch Times into the Congressional Record.

As a nonprofit, The Epoch Times is exempt from most federal taxes. Its mission, according to tax filings, is independent journalism, “outside of political interests and the pursuit of profit, for the public benefit and to be truly responsible to society.” Many on the left have decried that the organization has become a right wing PAC and should register as such but authorities have yet to look into the issue.

In recent years the Epoch Times has denied any affiliation with the Falun Gong despite the two groups ongoing financial and organizational ties and the fact that the entire Epoch Times board members and most staff are Falun Gong practitioners. The non-profits behind both organizations share executives and provide grants and services to each other, according to tax filings. And the newspaper, along with it's digital production company and the heavily advertised dance troupe Shen Yun, make up a nonprofit network that the leader of the religious movement calls “our media.”

So, who is the Epoch Times and who controls it? The Falun Gong (or Falun Dafa) are a religious organization that has been persecuted by the CCP for decades. The Epoch Times was formed by members of the Falun Gong in 2000 as a small, free propaganda newsletter, in opposition to the CCP. Falun Gong literally means "Practice of the Law Wheel" (Dharma Chakra) which refers to a series of five meditative exercises aimed at channeling and harmonizing the "qi" or vital energy. The Falun Gong is based on the teachings of Li Hongzhi. He first published what has become the groups "canon", in two books the "Teachings of Falun Gong" in China in 1992 and Zhuan Falun" in 1993. Followers consider his writings sacred. They cover a range of topics from spiritual, scientific and moral issues to the metaphysical. Translated their core principles are supposedly based on truthfulness, benevolence and forebearance. The term "Falun" or Buddha Fa, is a great high level of the "Buddha School" in which "assimilation to the supreme nature of the universe" is the foundation of their practice. In this concept, one must practice to upgrade one's mind and nature by abandoning "negative attachments" and "assimilating oneself to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance". The term "Practice" refers to the five meditative exercises that are said to purify and transform one's body. Li asserts that this world is beset with evil, disease, and immorality and only under his guidance can one attain perfect health and personal salvation.

The teachings of Falun Gong makes a distinction between fojia, Buddha School, and fojiao, the religion of Buddhism as well as between the Dao School (daojia) and the religion of Daoism. Falun Gong incorporates their own version of each. Thay incorporate the practices of Qigong that involves movements and/or poses combined with controled breathing in the pursuit of spiritual "transcendence". Li also teaches the segreation of the races and rejects modern medicine.

From the beginning, Li has asserted his absolute authority over the transmission of the teachings and the use of healing powers of Falun Gong: he said in Changchun that only he is possessed of these right, and any who violate are to be expelled. Falun Gong practitioners see Li Hongzhi as the "enlightened teacher" or master whose writings and teachings carry unique spiritual authority. Some have said that Li claims top be the "sovereign god whose Fa powers are thousands of times stronger than that of Sakyamuni and Jesus Christ". I can't seem to find a specific quote where he said this, so make of iy what you will.

Even before stepping into the political limelight, Falun Gong attracted a good deal of public attention. Its popularity has steadily grown at a grassroots level, not only in China, but also in countries such as Australia, Canada, Switzerland, and the United States. It has undergone an unprecedented period of growth since becoming involved in US politics.

So, how did such an organiztion become so intertwined in American politics and why have so many right wingers, including many Evangelicals, been so swayed by them? Does anyone have any insights?

Jesus Christ is God the Son

“God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, 2 in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world. 3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much better than the angels, as He has inherited a more excellent name than they.
5 For to which of the angels did He ever say,
“You are My Son,
Today I have begotten You”?
And again,
“I will be a Father to Him
And He shall be a Son to Me”?
6 And when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says,
“And let all the angels of God worship Him.”
7 And of the angels He says,
“Who makes His angels winds,
And His ministers a flame of fire.”
8 But of the Son He says,
“Your throne, O God, is forever and ever,
And the righteous scepter is the scepter of His kingdom.
9 “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness;
Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You
With the oil of gladness above Your companions.”
10 And,
“You, Lord, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth,
And the heavens are the works of Your hands;
11 They will perish, but You remain;
And they all will become old like a garment,
12 And like a mantle You will roll them up;
Like a garment they will also be changed.
But You are the same,
And Your years will not come to an end.”
13 But to which of the angels has He ever said,
“Sit at My right hand,
Until I make Your enemies
A footstool for Your feet”?
14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:1-14 NASB’95)

I know this is a long passage of Scripture, but there is not any good way to divide this up and to maintain the context of what it is teaching us. And this is about Jesus Christ and who he was and is. So here are the highlights:

• God speaks to us in his Son, Jesus Christ
• God appointed Jesus (the Christ) the heir of all things
• Through Jesus, God created the world
• Jesus is the radiance of God’s glory
• Jesus is the exact representation of God’s nature
• Jesus upholds all things by word of his power
• Jesus made purification of sins (via his death on a cross)
• Jesus now sits down at the right hand of the Majesty on high
• Jesus Christ is the only Begotten Son of God -
• He was conceived of the Holy Spirit in the womb of Mary, his mother
• God instructed the angels of God to worship Jesus
• God said about Jesus, “Your throne, O God, is forever..”
• Jesus Christ is God - God incarnate when he lived on the earth
• Jesus loved righteousness and hated lawlessness
• Jesus Christ (Lord) in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth

Jesus (the Christ) is the only begotten Son of God, born to the virgin Mary, conceived of the Holy Spirit. So while he lived on the earth he was fully God and fully human (God incarnate). Since he was not born of man, but of the Spirit, he was not born with a sin nature as we are, and even though he was tempted to sin, in like manner as we are tempted to sin, he never sinned, not once! He remained perfect and holy. And he became our sacrificial lamb on that cross to put our sins to death with him so we can die to our sins.

While he lived on the earth (as both fully God and fully human) he healed the sick and afflicted, raised the dead, delivered people from demons, fed the hungry, comforted the sorrowful, and performed many miracles. He also preached repentance (death to sin) and obedience to God as necessary components of faith in him which will result in deliverance from slavery to sin and eternal life with God, provided that we continue in our walks of faith in dying to sin and in obeying his commands as a matter of life practice.

But he was hated by the religious rulers and people of influence within the temple of God, and in some of the synagogues, who were Jews by birth. They didn’t like it that he claimed to be God, and that he performed all those miracles, and that crowds followed him, and that he healed people on the Sabbath, and that he did not bow to their traditions, and that he spoke truth to them about their own sinful practices. And so they plotted and had carried out his death on a cross, which is what brought us salvation from sin.

But he did not remain dead. God the Father raised him from the dead on the third day, as Jesus had said would happen. And because Jesus lives we can now, not only die to sin, but live to him and to his righteousness in walks of obedience to his commands in holy living. For he taught that to follow him means self-denial, death to sin, and walks of obedience to his commands. But if we do not deny self, die to sin, and walk in obedience to his commands, in practice, we will not inherit eternal life with God. The truth!

So, believe God! Believe what the Scriptures teach (IN CONTEXT) and not out of context. Study them for yourselves in context so that you know what they teach, in truth. For many liars are teaching a false gospel based off Scriptures taught out of their appropriate context, and they are twisting those words to convince many people that lip service only is all that is required of them and that they do not have to put sin to death and make obedience to God their practice. But that is a lie straight from hell!

As the Deer

By Martin J. Nystrom
Based off Psalm 42:1

As the deer panteth for the water
So my soul longeth after You
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship You

You alone are my strength, my shield
To You alone may my spirit yield
You alone are my heart's desire
And I long to worship You

Trump administration weighs drone strikes on Mexican cartels

The amount of money that cartels took in for human trafficking due to the Biden administration policies is staggering. That means they will not be an easy force to defeat. The views of the Mexican president are not much of a factor in an American decision.
