Good fruits will always increase our self-esteem and bad fruits will always lower our self-esteem. Think for a sec, (don't want to impose unpleasantness), of the most horrific act you have ever heard of a person inflicting on others. The Spiritual Reality is that Every Evil Work begins in the simplest, fruit of the flesh.
This reveals a Spiritual Truth that must open the squinty eyes of Christianity.

Evil follows the same Sow and Reap principles.
To what degree is this a direct threat to one's
entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven?
Mark Four:
26 And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if
a man should scatter seed on the ground,
27 and should sleep by night and rise by day,
and the seed should sprout and grow,
he himself does not know how.
28 For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade,
then the head, after that the full grain in the head.
29 But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts
in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

The Heart Also "grows crops" in ways we do not know,
until the blade, then the head, and finally the full grain.
Tare or wheat? You will not know until the angel reapers
come, if you have not accepted the Chastisement of the Spirit.
I have witnessed countless believers who struggle with
their commitment to Christ, but in all sincerity exclaim,
"but God knows my heart right?" And so it goes.

Lack of diligence in a believer is not just a threat to themselves,
the become a source of defilement for an entire Assembly.
Should we wonder why Paul was so steadfast in directing
steps and procedures for their removal.

Hebrews Twelve:
14 Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:
15 looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness
springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled;
16 lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

So in my situation, I must be concerned as a sower of strife, and seek out the harm I have done.
So come forth with your testimonies, who have a defiled who wasn't already by a lack of diligence.
Certainly not my call, I do not know what any of you do as work in the Kingdom, but what I do know now
is that for the past twenty to thirty years, an eye opening number of believers have spent a highly inordinate amount of time in idle Christian chat, and passing that off a true fellowship, with faux polite comments that are actually being passed off as humility.
Without cause, I cannot and would not state names.
The point that must be "looked into carefully", is the
possibility that the symptoms are of a most insidious
spiritual defilement, which is described with one word.

So for example, 26 years ago, I was out trying to convince every believer I met in discussion that Y2K had nothing to do with us, and that Corporate America was just passing the cost of fixing a network issue onto average taxpayer citizenry . Meanwhile, I looked on while churches held Y2K symposiums, and CTV networks hawked food dehydrators.
The fearful are expressing unbelief in the most elemental Promises of God.

During the recent interview with ABC's Paul Moran, Trump pointed to a frame Declaration of Independence. Moran asked him what the document meant to him to which he replied, "Exactly what it says", then went on to explain that it was a "declaration of love and unity and respect". Pauline Lee is the daughter of immigrants who came to the United States as teenagers, with nothing.

Today I was reading in Hebrews 11, which is regarded as the “faith chapter of the Bible,” for it lists numerous people of faith from the Old Testament and the things that they did and how they lived in loving response to God, by faith in God. They obeyed God. They did what was pleasing to God and that which aligned with his will and purpose for their lives. They followed his instructions for them, sometimes not even knowing where they were going or what the final outcome was going to look like, exactly.

They walked by faith, and not by sight. But they were not all the same. Their circumstances were not all the same. And how God called them, and how God used them was not all the same, either. And they were not all perfect people, either. Some of them may have obeyed God just in their final moments on the earth, or perhaps later in life, but these are examples for us to show us what it means to have faith in God and to walk by faith, and not by sight, and to do what pleases God and is for his will and purpose.


So, when this begins with “therefore,” we need to go back and see what it is “there for.” For this is in reference to the examples given to us in chapter 11 on what it looks like to walk by and/or to act in faith in the Lord. And so this is a continuation of that same topic and what that should be like for us today who profess faith in Jesus Christ, to be Lord and Savior of our lives. For, just like for the people of faith mentioned in Hebrews 11, their faith resulted in actions and results which aligned with God’s will and purpose for their lives.

And here we are instructed, as those who profess faith in Jesus Christ, that we are to lay aside (discard, put to death, get rid of) every encumbrance (hindrance) to our walks of faith and the sin (lies, adulteries, disobedience, etc.) which so easily entangles (deceives, tricks, captures) us. For Jesus Christ died for us on that cross to put our sins to death with him so that we will die to sin and walk in obedience to our Lord and to his commands. For we cannot obey God if sin is still our practice (habit, lifestyle, practice).

By God-persuaded and God-gifted faith in the Lord Jesus, which is not of our own doing, we are crucified with Christ in death to sin, and we are raised with Christ to walk in newness of life in him, no longer to live as slaves to sin but as slaves to righteousness. Thus, we are no longer to let sin reign in our mortal bodies to make us obey its lusts. For if sin is what we obey, it results in death. But if obedience to God is what we obey, it leads to righteousness and sanctification, and its end is eternal life with God (see Romans 6:1-23).

So, we must put sin to death, by the Spirit, so that we can run the race (walk the walk) that God has for us to walk (run, live) as his followers who love him and who obey him, in practice, by his grace, in his power. For his grace, which is bringing us salvation, is instructing (training) us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives while we await our Lord’s return (see Titus 2:11-14). For he died to deliver us out of our addiction to sin so we’ll obey him with our lives.

And if our eyes (judgments, discernment, sense) are fixed on (directed towards, focused on, having our thoughts centered in) Jesus Christ, and who he is, and in what he did for us in his death on that cross, and on our relationships with him, and his power over our lives, we are going to walk with him in obedience to his commands and no longer in sin. This doesn’t mean we will be absolutely perfect in every respect, but that sin should no longer have mastery over our lives and our lives should be under God.

For Jesus Christ, not us, is the author and the perfecter of our faith – a faith which comes from God, is persuaded of God, and is gifted to us by God, and is not of our own doing. So we do not get to define what that faith looks like. God does. His word does, but taught in full context, not out of context. And if we read the Scriptures in their fulness, we will see that faith, which comes from God, and is persuaded of God, is going to result in us denying self, putting sin to death by the Spirit, and walking in obedience to our Lord.

They have continued pushing false narratives, especially about the Trump Administration. Just this week, NPR, citing two anonymous sources, reported that two DOGE workers gained accounts on classified networks, used by the National Security Administration and the Department of Energy, and accessed nuclear secrets.
“This reporting is false. No DOGE personnel have accessed these NNSA systems. The two DOGE individuals in question worked within the agency for several days and departed DOE in February,” a Department of Energy spokesperson told NPR.

There is no reason for the U.S. taxpayer to fund such biased "news" networks.

I had a question- I am a computer buff, I like building computers, it is my hobby, but I feel like me buying computer parts and other things that I want is the spirit of this world. Do you think I have the spirit of this world? I doubt that the supporters of massive illegal immigration will believe that this information is true. I have heard on the radio that the FBI has made arrests of Americans who were leaders of child trafficking rings. One American citizen was arrested in North Carolina and the other one was arrested in Greece.

What Bible translations do you use? Do you use one that accurately reflects what the original Greek New Testament says? I don't think that's possible in English, but I would like to hear what you read.

I have been reading the Amplified (AMP) translation, but I've noticed errors in it. I would like to find a different one.

Dan 9.24 “Seventy ‘sevens’ [490 years minus 3.5 years] are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place. [Christ's death would bring an end to Jewish Sin under their Temple worship.]
25 “Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem [457 BC] until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes [the 1st Coming of Christ], there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens’ [70 Weeks of years]. It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble [49 years of restoring Jerusalem and temple worship roughly in the time of Nehemiah]. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens’ [after 483 years], the Anointed One [Christ] will be put to death and will have nothing [Christ's Kingdom did not come immediately]. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation [the pagan Roman Army will lay siege to and destroy Jerusalem], until the end that is decreed is poured out on him [the Roman King is finally ended with the destruction of the "Little Horn" of Dan 7].

Obviously, the brackets are my insertions to reflect my interpretation of the passage. You can consider your own "insertions" as possible interpretations.

Daniel saw future things through the prism of 4 kings, who represented, generally, 4 great kingdoms on earth that impacted the Mediterranean region. It was here that events prepared for the history of the modern world leading eventually to the Kingdom of Christ. In Dan 2 and Dan 7 the 4th Kingdom figures prominently, with the 4th King representing this Kingdom at various stages of its development.

I believe the 4th Kingdom was the Roman Empire, and Daniel describes in chapter 9 some of what this King would do at different stages of its imperial development. It would essentially be in agreement, unconsciously, with the Covenant God made with Israel, to supply a crucified Messiah that brings to an end a long period of temple worship.

2 Thes 2.3 Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed [the "Little Horn" of Dan 7, the Antichrist], the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple [in Christendom], proclaiming himself to be God.
5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? [Paul lived in the Roman Empire, and would not openly divulge that the Roman King would be the Antichrist.] 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time [The Roman King himself holds the Empire together until it breaks up into 10 states.]. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back [the Roman King] will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way [the Emperor is temporarily removed]. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed [the Antichrist], whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming.

After Messiah was put to death by the Roman King a later Roman King destroyed the temple, desolating Jerusalem and the nation Israel for the entire NT age. Ultimately, this King would become the "Little Horn" spoken of in ch. 7 and would be terminated, freeing Israel from the bondage of punishment.

This 4th Kingdom, the Roman Empire, was therefore integral in shaping the future modern world because it would preside over a government that keeps things intact, politically, until, as Dan 7 suggests, it breaks up into 10 states. The Kingdom, originally, developed two distinct sections, the Eastern Roman Empire and the Western Roman Empire. And at different times both sections devolved into a number of distinct states which will eventually comprise a restored Roman Empire under the Antichrist, the "Little Horn" of Dan 7.

Jesus said that the Kingdom of God, the Theocracy, would be taken from Israel and given to another nation worthy of it. This was, I believe, the Roman Empire, which converted to Christianity under Theodosius, giving the Roman Empire cohesion to last throughout the present age.

However, as we are told in ch. 7, this imperial entity would break up into a set of states, in both Eastern and Western Europe, until the Little Horn reconsolidates them under himself, instead of under Christ. He will "take his seat in God's temple, proclaiming himself God." That "temple" is not a literal, physical temple, but God's place within Christendom, which is "God's Temple."
