  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. DeTrumpify yourself app

Here is a really good mobile app.

You can scan products in the grocery store and it can tell you whether that product supports USA trade or not.
So if it does, you can then choose a different product. There really is no need to support USA products when USA is making this ridiculous attack on global trade trying to bully and extort its trading partners.

I'm all for boycotts of USA products.

Re: Medication

A follow-up from this thread: Medication

So I've been once again working on going off two meds that aren't helping me. What a terrible experience it has been.

I had trouble going off one of them in the past even when reducing the dosage by quarters, so I tried reducing it by sixths this time. I had no issues until I tried to go below a certain amount, so then I tried splitting that amount in quarters. STILL having withdrawal symptoms for over a month now; I can't sleep at night and my usual symptoms are worse.

The other medication was similar. I had no issues at first, but whenever I try to go below the same amount I can't sleep AT ALL. My doctor seems to think I should just deal with it. I don't know what to do (this one is a capsule and can't be cut).

I'm also expected to start a new medication once I'm done with the first one I mentioned, which will be either tonight or tomorrow. As always, I'm scared about side effects.

Please pray for these withdrawal symptoms to go away and for me to find a way to get off the second medication I mentioned. Please pray that the new one will actually help me and not harm me, and that I'll be able to find something else that will actually help me. I'm getting desperate and losing hope.

Jesus Catches some Sadducees’ Fast One about The Resurrection of the Just

The following incident, told in two parts of Luke, notwithstanding Matthew, illustrate the importance of knowing the facts before asking your questions. Many of the high-level Jews have tried to discredit Jesus’ teachings by attempting to show that Jesus is ignorant in matters of the Old Testament. They effectively gambled on a bluff they thought Jesus had, and they ended up losing their hand in the process. Game, set, match as the Jews who heard Jesus’ teachings, weren’t convinced that Jesus wasn’t who he said he was as those Jews tried to portray him as such.

It starts out in Luke 14:12–14 in which Jesus advises a man who invited him to a banquet in Luke 14:12–14 that when he gives a feast he should “invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind” who cannot repay him. Jesus says that if the man does this he “will be repaid at the resurrection of the just.”

Later on, in Luke 20:27–40, the high-level Jews, namely the Sadducees, who deny there’s such a thing as a resurrection, asks Jesus a question. The question focuses on Deuteronomy 25:5 in which Moses says, “If brothers dwell together, and one of them dies and has no son, the wife of the dead man shall not be married outside the family to a stranger. Her husband’s brother shall go in to her and take her as his wife and perform the duty of a husband’s brother to her.”

Hoping to stump Jesus and make him bluster, they ask him what if the husband dies and he has seven brothers who are each obligated to take on the duty of the husband when the one before each of them dies; which brother would such a resurrection of the just apply to? As an aside, the question seems to presuppose that under the circumstances only one of the brothers who take on the duties of the ‘dead’ husband would be considered just for purposes of the resurrection. But as we may see, such a question is as ridiculous as asking if a plane that takes off from one place and crashes into another, where would the survivors be buried. Of course, you don’t bury those who just survived! With that thought in mind...

The answer Jesus gives totally disavows the question as he says among Verses 34-38, , “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage, but those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and to the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage, for they cannot die anymore, because they are equal to angels and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.” In other words, if the brothers are at the point of resurrection, they’re passed the point of being in position to marry the widow. To marry the widow in this situation is a non-sequitar; only the “survivors” can marry the widow. Conversely, the inference may be that whoever marries the widow has a long way to go before they are considered for resurrection. Alternatively, perhaps, to think about what might take place upon resurrection is as gainful as trying to predict the future. Only God knows what the future will bring.

In addition, Jesus raises the point in Luke 20:37-38 that as God identifies himself (in Exodus 3:15) as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, God is God of the living, not of the dead. Jesus seems to be saying to the Sadducees here, ‘Why bother with what happens when you’re dead? Your judgement is on what you’ve done while you were alive on earth.’

Mental health funding in schools

School shooting...

Almost everyone on christian forums: We need better mental health supports for students! We could catch these kids in time

Trump Administration: Here! Let me help in the mean time.

https://www.npr.org/2025/05/01/nx-s1-5382582/trump-school-mental-health

Can we all agree that, without first having a detailed plan to restructure this funding, this is a failure policy.

Or, of course if the goal all along is to save money. why would we think they are restructuring anything? They are STOPPING the money to those people period.

That was the plan.

I Recently Found Witchcraft In My house - NEED Help

Hi I am a life long Christian Catholic. I recently found witchcraft in my house.

I found 2 strings knotted togeter 4 knots with hair knotted to it.
I live alone and I know every object in my house. The knotted string was not there 3 months ago. 100 percent witchcraft items.

I found this two weeks ago. 3 days ago I found another item a white string and blue string knotted together with a hair knotted to it. I have a picture of the first Item, the last item I burned and put the remains in the garbage. The first item I burned, I couldn’t burn it completley, I burried it miles away from my house after saying some prayers over it in Jesus name.

After finding and touching both these items all the energy was drained out of my body. I could barley stand(I’m a VERY strong guy, feeling drained is not normal for me) I’m usually a very positive person(The dont worry be happy type of guy), but after the witchcraft I feel clear spirtual attacks sucking the energy out of me and filling me with aniexty and rage. I even questioned my catholic faith which is something I never do Im usually a warrior for the faith.

I know this is going to sound crazy but I don’t care because I’m not crazy so I am going to say it as I dont want to hold back any details., ever since I found the items I have been seeing black orbs floating around me on a daily basis and the lights have been flickering my house. I tried saying prayers and even got on my knees praying asking God The Father and Jesus the Son to remove the witchcraft but no luck. I have been getting attacked everyday since this happened. I’m a tough guy and can take alot but these attacks are more then I can handle. I have lost all my peace since the witchcraft was placed on me.

I need to know if there is a catholic priest in South Florida that specialises in these things. I need a real deal father gabriel amorth type priest who knows what he is doing to come to my house bless my house, bless the areas where the witchcraft was found and bless me. I’m telling you these are hardcore spirtual attacks(Not a placebo or anything of that sort)

A girl I was dating is into witchcraft and this guy who is like a father figure to her is a HARDCORE lucaferian(She told me he is a powerful top witch) I heard him praising demons in prayer once. I was very freaked out and left. I did not say anything to him about it. These are very normal looking people and you would never know it by looking at them. The girl has the sweetest personality and very cute. They are not the goth type.

I tried leading the girl to Jesus but she rejected the light. I think they both have something to do with it cant prove it though. I think they are attacking me for my faith in God.

If any priests is reading this please private message me. I ask for your HELP PLEASE In Jesus Name. I feel it if I dont get help soon I will be done.

P.S Can everyone please pray for me. I want the old me back. These are serious spirtual attacks and No im not crazy or chemicaly Imbalanced. These are real objects I found I have a picture if you guys would like to see. I dont think Holy Water sprinkled by myself will hold the same weight, I feel like Jesus only gives Authority to priests to remove unclean spirits. Does anyone Know of a Good Priest in South Florida that knows about this stuff?

Matthew 5:17-18 "I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill" Does Fulfill mean "to end" or "to accomplish, complete"?

    Votes: 9 100.0%

The word "fulfill" in Matthew, particularly in the context of the New Testament, generally means to accomplish or to realize rather than to end something. It's often used in relation to prophecies or promises, indicating that what was predicted or spoken has come to pass in its entirety. Let's go through some of the key occurrences in the Gospel of Matthew and see how "fulfill" is used, based on the context and the translations. all verses below are from KJV.

Matthew 1:22–23 (Fulfillment of Prophecy)
"Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."
This refers to the prophecy from Isaiah 7:14 about the virgin birth of the Messiah. Here, "fulfilled" means that the prophecy has been accomplished—the prophecy is being realized in the birth of Jesus. It doesn’t imply that something has ended, but rather that what was promised has now been completed in the present moment.

Matthew 13:35 (Fulfillment of Prophecy)
"That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world."
Jesus is referring to the uses of parables. The phrase "might be fulfilled" means that the words of the prophet are now being realized or accomplished. It's a completion of a divine plan, not an end to something. The secret truths of the kingdom of God are now being revealed in Jesus' teachings.

Matthew 26:54 (Fulfillment of Scripture)
"But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?"
Here, Jesus is speaking about His impending arrest and the unfolding of events that must happen according to the Scriptures. "Fulfilled" refers to God’s plan being carried out as prophesied, accomplishing the divine will. Again, this is not an end, but a necessary step in God's purpose.

Matthew 27:9 (Fulfillment of Prophecy)
"Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;"
This refers to the betrayal of Jesus by Judas for thirty pieces of silver, a fulfillment of Zechariah's prophecy. The use of "fulfilled" here indicates that the prophecy was realized—it has reached its final stage or completion, rather than indicating that something has ceased.

Matthew 5:17 (Jesus Fulfilling the Law)
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill."
In this verse, Jesus is speaking about His relationship to the Law of Moses and the prophets. "Fulfill" here means to complete or accomplish the law’s purpose. It's not about ending the law, but about bringing it to its intended completion and perfection. Jesus is not abolishing the law but rather fulfilling or fulfilling its deeper purpose and pointing to its ultimate meaning.

The nuances of "fulfill" on other Translations:
To examine the nuances of "fulfill", lI have looked at a few major translations:

King James Version (KJV): Often uses "fulfilled" in the sense of accomplishing or realizing something that was previously foretold.
New International Version (NIV): "to fulfill" often appears with a similar sense of completion of prophecy or God's purpose.
English Standard Version (ESV): The ESV translates "fulfill" in a way that indicates bringing to completion or realizing the prophecy—it maintains the idea of a process coming to fruition.
New Revised Standard Version (NRSV): Similar to the NIV and ESV, it translates "fulfill" as realizing a promise or prophecy. It emphasizes completion of what was foretold rather than termination.
New Living Translation (NLT): This translation often uses the phrase "this was to fulfill," indicating that something is coming to pass as predicted, which aligns with the idea of accomplishing rather than ending.

Summary of the Word "Fulfill" in Matthew:
In all instances, "fulfill" in Matthew conveys the idea of accomplishing or realizing something that was previously promised or prophesied. "Fulfill" is rarely (if ever) used to indicate the idea of ending something. Instead, it signals the culmination of a process or the completion of a divine plan. Whether in the fulfillment of prophecy or the purpose of Jesus’ mission, it always involves the idea of bringing something to its intended goal or purpose.

In French all versions found in my e-library use "accomplir' same meaning as accomplish.

Mat 5:17 (French DB) Ne pensez pas que je sois venu pour abolir la loi ou les prophètes: je ne suis pas venu pour abolir, mais pour accomplir;

from the study tools in Bible Hub;
""but to fulfill them.
The concept of "fulfillment" is crucial in understanding Jesus' mission. To "fulfill" means to bring to completion or to realize the intended purpose. Jesus claims that His life and ministry are the culmination of what the Law and the Prophets anticipated. This fulfillment can be seen in several ways: through His perfect obedience to the Law, His embodiment of the prophetic messages, and His role as the promised Messiah. This phrase also connects to other scriptures, such as Luke 24:44, where Jesus explains that everything written about Him in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled. Additionally, this fulfillment is not merely a legalistic adherence but a deeper realization of God's redemptive plan for humanity, as seen in the sacrificial system and the prophetic visions of a new covenant.""

In Conclusion:
  • Jesus did not end the Law, but He came to accomplish it. This involves:
  • Completing the Law’s purpose.
  • Perfectly obeying the Law.
  • Revealing the deeper spiritual truths embedded in the Law.
  • Instituting a New Covenant, where His work on the cross makes believers right with God, rather than their ability to keep the Law.
While the ceremonial and ritualistic aspects of the Law were fulfilled in Christ, the moral aspects of the Law, which reflect God’s nature, continue to be important for Christians today.

Front-runner Cardinal seen as the successor to Pope Francis suffers sudden illness

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, the Holy See’s former Secretary of State who considered by many Vatican experts as the front-runner to succeed Pope Francis, was stricken with a sudden illness that may hinder his chances in his race for the papacy.

Vatican journalist Diane Montagna tweeted today that the 70-year-old Cardinal “reportedly suffered a sudden illness due to elevated blood pressure & was attended to by a medical team that assisted him for an hour. The incident was reported by Italian journalist Nicos Puntoni.”

Parolin has been a towering figure in Vatican, church and international circles for over two decades. In 2013 he was appointed as the Vatican’s Secretary of State, the number two position in the Holy See; in 2014 Pope Francis made him a Cardinal.

Parolin was expected to preside over the upcoming Papal Conclave and many Vatican observers saw him as the favorite to succeed Francis and continue his progressive programs. Still, others see Parolin’s sudden health problems and how they may affect his performance at the Conclave in a different light.

MS-13 gangbangers in US illegally allegedly stabbed three Va. correction officers in heinous attack: officials

MS-13, or Mara Salvatrucha 13, formed in the late 1980s and early 1990s, according to federal officials, and has since become one of the most notorious criminal enterprises in the country, relying more on violent attacks than traditional criminal activities.
In New York, the ferocious gang established a strong presence on Long Island, peaking in 2015, and leaving a long trail of ruthless and merciless violence in its path.

Especially with the money they reaped during the Biden administration it is going to be a monumental task to eradicate them from our country.

Catholic vs Evangelical/Protestant POV - discussion

In this video Charlie Kirk and Michael Knowles compare various views/differences between Catholicism and Protestant/Evangelical teaching

At one point it appears that (Evangelical/Protestant) Charlie Kirk argues that doctrine should not matter and then Michael (Catholic) tends to argue that it does matter. I agree with Michael on that one.

But then they skirt around their differences on transubstantiation - body and bread at the Communion table.

When Charlie indicates that he believes these are symbols of Christ's body and not actual flesh and blood -- I think that there is a context in which both Catholics and Evangelical/Protestants agree 100%.

Both say that when Protestants/Evangelicals celebrate the Lord's Supper - in fact the bread and the grape juice remain -- bread and grape juice. Absolutely no Transubstantiation occurs. In fact Catholic documents say that if one takes an electron microscope and analyze the bread - it is still bread... going all the way down to carbon atom based molecular structure.

Where they differ - is the Catholic claim that Holy Orders convey some "mark of the soul" on the priest that enables them to have the powers to confect what some Catholic authors call "the body, blood, soul and divinity" of Christ in a way that the electron microscope cannot detect.

And both Protestants and Catholics agree that the non-Catholic groups claim no such "marking of the soul" for pastors/priests such that they can in any way confect "the body, blood, soul and divinity" of Christ .

========================

Just one example of their differences

===================

Another observation - they have a difficult time comparing notes - without an appeal to "Common ground".

One such common ground is "scripture" - they both agree that 66 books are inspired scripture, but the Catholic view would be that so also are 11 more books.

As Kirk points out - those 11 added books are not NT Christian age books - they are OT Jewish books and the Jews themselves do not consider them to be inspired texts though they do think they are important to read and know about.

Maine settles lawsuit against USDA over $3 million in school funds

The Department of Agriculture agreed it will not interfere with Maine school funding based on alleged Title IX violations without following the proper procedure, according to a settlement announced Friday.

Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins announced in March that she would freeze funding to Maine education, saying the state violates Title IX because its student-athlete policies allow transgender girls to compete on girls sports teams.

In the settlement, signed Friday morning, the agency agreed not to freeze, terminate or interfere with the state’s access to USDA funds based on the alleged Title IX violations without going through the legally required process.

"I stood in the White House and when confronted by the president of the United States, I told him I’d see him in court. Well we did see him in court, and we won.”

The governor said the federal agency froze money that helps to feed 172,000 children in Maine without any due process, without any rationale and without any ongressional authorization.

At what point do we become responsible for talking against leaders like Trump?

Hi everyone,

I recently had a disagreement with someone who only watches CNN and MSNBC (Channels that seem to be biased against Trump). Throughout the conversation, they repeatedly insisted that Trump is a “bad person.” As we talked, it became clear that their view was largely shaped by the news sources they rely on—sources that often present only one side of the story. Interviews and coverage usually feature voices that already oppose Trump, and little effort is made to offer a fair or balanced view. This kind of repeated, one-sided storytelling can deeply influence how we think about someone.

As Christians, I believe we need to be very careful here. Scripture warns us not to bear false witness (Exodus 20:16), to avoid gossip and slander (Proverbs 10:18, James 4:11), and to speak truthfully. If there’s no real, clear evidence that a leader is doing wrong, I think we should either remain silent or even offer our support, because to speak against someone based on filtered or biased impressions could cause us to unintentionally spread slander.

That said, we also need to be careful on the other side. It's easy to say that if media builds up a leader, at least it's not gossip. And that’s true—praise isn't slander. But even then, we can't leave our discernment at the door. Just because a leader is being praised by the media station that we prefer doesn't mean they're righteous. History reminds us of this painfully.
The German people, for example, were also swept up by positive portrayals of Hitler. They listened to state-controlled media that praised him as a national saviour. Many supported him enthusiastically without asking deeper questions. Over time, that blind endorsement helped enable one of the greatest evils in history. So we need to recognise that the danger cuts both ways—biased negativity can lead to slander, and biased praise can lead to complicity.

So here’s the heart of the matter for me:
1. When does it become our responsibility to discern truth for ourselves and stop blindly trusting what we’re told,- whether that message is for or against a leader?
2. And if the media we're listening to is constantly negative about a leader, at what point do we become responsible for spreading lies, slander or gossip?

We live in a world full of information and opinions. As followers of Christ, we are called to seek truth, walk in humility, and avoid careless speech. That includes what we say about political leaders. I'd love to hear your thoughts on where this responsibility begins and how we can guard our hearts and words in this area.

Grace and peace,
Nathan

WHY WATER BAPTISM WILL DISAPPEAR AND THEN REAPPEAR !!

One of the FIRST TIME the Greek word BAPTISM appears to me is in 1 Cor 10:2 and reads , And all were BAPTIZED TOGETHER

unto MOSES in the CLOUD and in the SEA ! Since their were thousands to cross the RED SEA and with thousand EGYTIANS following

them , and the Greek WATER // HUDOR is NOT in the Greek text .

By the way , What does the CLOUD and the SEA , mean ??

# 2 And in the book of Acts 1:5 is written , FOR // HOTI , is a CONJUNCATION

# 3 John // IOANNES , is in the NOMINATIVE CASE , and in the SIGNULAR

# 4 TRULY // MEN , is a PARTICILE DISJUNCATIVE

# 5 BAPTIZED // BAPTIZO , is in the Greek , AORIST TENSE , in the INDICATIVE MOOD , means yu better bekeve it , in te SINGULAR

# 6 WITH WATER // HYDOR , in the DATIVE CASE , in the SINGULAR , and in the NEUTER , meaning MALE and FEMALE

# 7 BUT // DE , is a ONJUNCATION PLEASE NOTICE THE BUTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

# 8 YE // HYMEIS , is a PERSONAL , POSSESSIVE PRONOUN , in the NOMINATIVE CASE , in the PLURAL

# 9 SHALL BE BAPTIZED , is in the FUTURE TENSE , PASSIVE VOICE , in the INDICATIVE MOOD , means you better belkeve it , PLURAL

and since it is in the Greek FUTURE TENSE it has not happened yet .

# 10 THE HOLY // in the DATIVE CASE , in the SINGULAR and in the NEUTER

# 11 SPIRIT // PNEUMA , in the DATIVE CASE , in the SIGNULAR and in the NETER

# 12 NOT // OU , is a DISJUNCATIVE PARTICILE NEGATIVE

# 13 MANY DAYS // POLYS , in the ACCUSATIVE CASE , in te PLJRAL

# 14 HENCE // META , a PROPOSITION

These means WATER BAPTISM has moved on from WATER BAPTISM to HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM , as in Eph 4:5 which reads

ONE LORD , ONE FAITH , ONE // HEIS and ONE // HEIS , means ONE BAPTISM , during this AGE of GRACE and we are SAVED

By Rom 10: 9- 10 , period

But Baptism will reappear for Israel in Eze 36 :25 when Israel and Judah become ONE STICK in EZE 37:15-28 , and ISRAEL

will BE BORN AGAIN , will ONLY happen to Israel in Eze 37 !

DOJ reaches agreement in principle to settle lawsuit brought by family of Ashli Babbitt

The Department of Justice has reached an agreement in principle to settle a lawsuit brought by the family of Ashli Babbitt, a pro-Trump rioter who was shot by a U.S. Capitol Police officer during the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.

The details of the proposed settlement were not made clear during a Friday hearing before federal Judge Ana Reyes, of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.

Babbitt's family members sued the government in January 2024 seeking $30 million for what they allege was her wrongful shooting death by Capitol Police Officer Michael Byrd.

Byrd was cleared of any wrongdoing following an internal investigation into the actions leading up to his shooting of Babbitt as she tried to climb through a broken window that led to the House Speaker's Lobby, where several lawmakers and their staff were sheltering from rioters.

Babbitt's attorneys disclosed the agreement in principle was reached during the hearing, which was convened on an emergency basis after one of Babbitt's prior attorneys sought a preliminary injunction on Friday to ensure he received payment for his work on the case if a settlement was formally announced.

Robert Sticht, the lawyer for Babbitt's family, said he expected the family to sign the formal settlement agreement within the next three weeks.

President Donald Trump has repeatedly expressed his solidarity with Babbitt's family and called for "justice" for what he has said was her "murder" at Byrd's hands -- in line with his broader vocal support for the pro-Trump rioters who attacked the Capitol to overturn his 2020 election loss.

In March, Trump said in an interview with Newsmax he wasn't aware of the lawsuit brought by Babbitt's family but promised he would "look into" it.

Seventh Seal, 7 angels w/ 7 Trumpets; Plus One!

Revelation Eight:
1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour.
2 And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets.
3 Then another angel, having a golden censer, came and stood at the altar.
He was given much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the saints
upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
4 And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints,
ascended before God from the angel’s hand.
5 Then the angel took the censer, filled it with fire from the altar,
and threw it to the earth.
And there were noises, thunderings, lightnings, and an earthquake.
6 So the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

The assignment of the "other angel" in this passage is to mix incense with the all the prayers of the Saints, to raise a cloud of smoke before the Throne of God. To be clear, the effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much. The Lord has been in the business of answering prayer, especially since prior to the Ascension He instructed us to ask whatever we would in His Name.

Therefore, these are answered prayers, and the time for intercession has ended, for the Wrath of God will soon be poured out.

Three witnesses to the end of prayer as judgment approaches in Jeremiah.

7:16 Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to Me; for I will not hear you.

11:14 “So do not pray for this people, or lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry out to Me because of their trouble.

14:11 Then the LORD said to me, “Do not pray for this people, for their good.

So what purpose does this cloud of smoke serve?
Is there an Old Testament observation that is comparable?
Indeed there is!

Leviticus 16:
12
Then he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from the altar before the Lord, with his hands full of sweet incense beaten fine, and bring it inside the veil.
13 And he shall put the incense on the fire before the Lord, that the cloud of incense may cover the mercy seat that is on the Testimony, lest he die.

The cloud of smoke before the Lord on the Day of Atonement protected the High Priest from wrath. Now God is preparing to pour out of His Spirit, the restrained wrath of the Age, so again, why the smoke? The function is now reversed.

Habakkuk 1:

1 Are You not from everlasting,
O Lord my God, my Holy One?
We shall not die.
O Lord, You have appointed them for judgment;
O Rock, You have marked them for correction.
13 You are of purer eyes than to behold evil,
And cannot look on wickedness.

Why do You look on those who deal treacherously,
And hold Your tongue when the wicked devours
A person more righteous than he?

The Father will NOT bear witness to the punishment of the wicked.
The Saints are the witnesses.

Psalm 91:8 Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

Psalm 68:
22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:
23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

Malachi 4:
1 “For behold, the day is coming,
Burning like an oven,
And all the proud, yes, all who do wickedly will be stubble.
And the day which is coming shall burn them up,”
Says the Lord of hosts,
“That will leave them neither root nor branch.
2 But to you who fear My name
The Sun of Righteousness shall arise
With healing in His wings;
And you shall go out
And grow fat like stall-fed calves.
3 You shall trample the wicked,
For they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet

On the day that I do this,”
Says the Lord of hosts.

Open Doors May-June mag highlights

.A father and son team joined their love of racing and a marathon and raised £250.00 for Open Doors at the silverstone running marathon- it reminds me I need to do the same and plan on doing so!

. Please pray for our sister in Christ Nagres Nasri from Iran, despite being pregnant with her first child, she has been sentenced to 16 years in jail for house church activities.

. We learn of pastor Yang in Myanmar- having to be constantly on the move with his family due to the civil war in Myanmar- having to move with his children and wife.

. We hear of Romi in Malaysia- a formerly nominal Christian who heard the proper Gospel from an evangelist, thanks to Open Doors he now has a Bible in his language. Despite the loss of benefits from the Government and loss of community standing, he continues pressing on to know Christ more and more!

. We learn of Long and Ha from Vietnam- a couple whose house was torn down by a raging mob and they were forced away from their village for their faith in Christ- to make matters even more distressing Ha was eight months pregnant.

Please continue to pray for your persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ!

FEC unanimously dismisses lawsuit accusing Biden and Alvin Bragg of 'lawfare' against Donald Trump

America First Legal Foundation accused the Biden campaign and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg of violating election laws.

In a 4-0 decision, the commissioners rejected America First Legal Foundation’s claim that President Joe Biden, while still running for reelection, had illegally “looked to lawfare to destroy” Trump. The commissioners also rejected the group’s allegation that Bragg pursued a “politically motivated prosecution against Trump” that constituted an “excessive” campaign contribution and expenditure, according to a case file released Thursday.
