As an apologist, I am constantly directed to the "knowledge we now have", as the top response of atheist as to why they deny the existence of God. "Science", they say. "disputes your sky daddy delusion". I have always wondered where they are getting this information from. In many years, and in many discussions, I have never failed to ask them this. I have also never "failed to fail" in getting an answer from them. I have compiled nothing short of a small mountain of evidence to the contrary. None of it is ever taken very seriously by the atheist community.
So, I have decided to take a different approach. In discussions that involve this tactic of, "scientist say different", I will post what they actually do say about this. Ironically, the people that often use this tactic are completely unaware of what science says, (or doesn't say). They also seem to be completely unaware of what the the scientist themselves say about this. So without further ado, let's fill them in on a few things.
Dr. Francis Collins. Head of the National Human Genome Research Institute. His fields are physician geneticist, Genomics pioneer. Before joining NHGRI, he earned a reputation as an innovative gene hunter at the University of Michigan. He has been elected to the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences, and has received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Science.

Because of what we now know about DNA, as well as medical sciences, Dr. Francis has changed his mind. Seems he has been an atheist all his life because of science, and now, science, in his opinion, shows him that God is more likely than not a reality, and the evidence he has seen indicate intelligent design. He is now a follower of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Francis agrees with the view I've always held, that evolution is also an attribute of creation, and theology can not dismiss Darwin. We at Clean Slate Fellowship keep this theme evident throughout any teachings we condone. We promote truth, and know what Romans 1:20 is, and we know what it means. We were allowed to know, and were shown.
As much as atheist want to sweep this under a rug, (and as quick as possible), it is becoming a 'more and more' frequent event among scientist and atheist that are considered to be the most qualified, to change their mind. This is otherwise known as "repentance" or "to repent".
Herein lies one of our problems with communication. Wicipedia has their definition of repentance. Paul has his, and I have mine. You either have yours, or can choose one of ours. But what none of us can do, is change the Biblical definition of repentance, as God intends for it to be:

The trend seems to be to substitute Biblical definitions of words from the original translated words, to totally different words and meanings. Homey don't play that, and Homey, (big H) didn't say that. These top atheist and scientist have changed their minds. They've repented of their former views. They now see evidence, as do we. They are neither stupid, delusional, or in any way mentally challenged. You will also not be able to use your "science says different" strategies to dispute their testimony.
Professor Antony Flew, who debated C.S. Lewis has written more than thirty nationalized publications for the advancement of atheism, and "free thought". ( also the author of Theology and Falsification). He has also changed his mind (repented), and now favors intelligent design; because of recent advances in science.
