Revelations Of Jesus: Build On The Word

All other men spoke by inspiration but the master spoke by revelation. And herein lies the difference between inspiration and revelation and its significance: "heaven and earth may pass away but a jot (the smallest part of) shall not pass away (Matthew 5:18). Here Jesus clearly tells us what's the most important thing in his kingdom: revelation. For inspiration is ephemeral but revelation is eternal! Civilisations will come and go, but God's word abides forever! It is on this abiding revelation of the word that we must build our world!

This prompted one of the most quoted statement of the master: "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; and ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."(John 8:31-32)

“Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” (Matthew 7:24-27)

The church cannot thrive on just inspiration and motivation as it wonts to do today. We cannot beat the world to its system! Because this world system is designed and ruled by Satan who is the spirit that works in the children of disobedience. This is why the master said that the children of this world are wiser and smarter in the world system than the children of light!
