THE HOLY SPIRIT: OUR COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE
"And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had to understand of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred, and all their brethren were at their commandment"
You cannot have spiritual leadership without spiritual discernment, for when you know more than your peers you command their leadership without a campaign. Spiritual insights, awareness, knowledge, and understanding is what gives you spiritual leadership! Here the children of Isaachar assumed the mantle of leadership because of what they knew that their peers did not know! They knew the season, they knew what to do as a result of that knowledge gained through discernment and by reason of this they were ahead of others.
God is going to give us unique insights in the season that we are in that will place us ahead of our peers. 2018 is a special year for us. it is a new day in the body of Christ. For almost all the prophetic declarations around the world in the body of Christ tends to point towards a new day, a new dawn, a new beginning or a new anointing! And this new dawn, this season of soaring higher of experiencing exponential results will be birth by an outpouring of a new anointing!
New oil always precedes new works! Psalm 92:10 says, "But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of a unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil." And from verse 11 we begin to see the effect of that new oil: new works!
"My eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and my ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me. The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing; To shew that the Lord is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him." Hallelujah! This has always been the pattern for every new move of God, it is always preceded by an outpouring of His Spirit.
In Joel 2:21 the prophet begins to declare, "Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the Lord will do great things. Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength. Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month." The lord definitely is out to do great things. He is out to do new things. The trees shall bear new fruits again!
Paving way for that new visitation, however, is first the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, both the former rain and the latter rain all combined together in one move! Hallelujah! And when this new oil, new rain is poured out then from verse 24 we see the effect of the new rain: an overflow of blessings, fullness and fruitfulness, restoration, abundance and removal of every shame in the life of Gods people. And then in verse 28 so that no one will be in doubt of what God is saying, the prophet made it clear and use specific terms, 'this is what I mean peradventure you didn't get it the first time, I will pour out my Spirit upon all flesh and from then on signs and wonders will become the order of the day both on heaven and on earth and in those days whenever people call on God there will be express salvation!" These are the days of the HOLY SPIRIT! Now you can sound that to all the ends of the earth!
We are in the days where the Spirit of God in our heart will be our competitive advantage on the earth! We will be ahead because we have been made the head and we have been made the head because the Holy Spirit is seated on our head!
Isaiah 11:1-3 says, "And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots: And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord; And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:" What was resting on the master separated him from the rest! He did not judge like others: after what only the eyes could see! No, he was above that: the new anointing gave him a new perspective on the issues of life!
We are in the season of newness, Gods spirit will anoint you for new ideas and new approaches to old issues! For what rested upon Jesus will begin to rest upon us in a greater dimension from here!
When Jesus announced a new day in Luke 4:18 it was all because of the new anointing that he had just received! And he said from this day onward you begin to see the fulfillment of scriptures!
2018 will bring many into the realms of long-delayed fulfillment for the Spirit of God will act more than a spiritual catalyst to facilitate the fulfillment of dreams, goals, and visions! For on the wings of the Spirit we will ride faster and soar higher! Friends, it is the year of the Holy Spirit. Get set for an unusual outpouring of the Spirit of God! Get set for the outpouring of the power of God! Get set for an outpouring of the wisdom of God.
