God's Will Be Done, No Matter What!

For some reason (the Holy Spirit :)), I wanted to ramble about my faith and my walk with Christ. Because it's genuine and not counterfeit.

I sum up my walk with Christ in these four words:
God's will be done!

From when I was first saved, it's what God has put in my heart. Seek Him and His will no matter what it is. I stumbled around soooo much at first, but God always pulled me back and put my focus on the Cross, on Jesus, on the Father and Son, Christ crucified, and everything else that Jesus taught us. I've been misled by deceitful spirits, false teachings, false gospels and false prophets, but I've prayed everyday "Father, lead me, show me Your way, show me Your Truth!" and God has fought for me, and taught me. He is faithful.

God always makes me end every prayer with "Not my will by Yours be done!" and then I wait and see what happens. If I pray according to His will, I receive revelation from Him, learn about Him, see His hand in everything, I see wonders and miracles, I see people brought closer to Him, and strengthened in His Spirit, I find myself being used as His light in this world. It's amazing what prayer can do, if we pray according to His will, and according to truth!

And I see myself being convicted and chastised, because His will is that I become free from sin. That's how I know I have the true faith in the true God, because I'm no longer dead in sin, but alive in Christ, and I have a God who acts completely according to His Word.

Because anyone who truly seek God, will find Him, and they will find out that the teachings of Jesus Christ are completely true. He isn't hiding, He is calling all of us. And there is only One way to Him, and that is through His Son and His teachings. God doesn't want anyone to perish, so He has made Himself available to us through Jesus Christ. And His perfect will is clear from His Word. We have to follow it. We have to live according to His commandments. We have to crucify the flesh and worship the Lord in Spirit and in Truth, in holiness and humility.

And I've had to change. A LOT! I usually rejoice in it, because I really want to become like Christ who is perfect, and I have nothing to lose whatsoever, and everything to gain. His commandments aren't burdensome, but give us joy. Sometimes it's extremely difficult though, as anyone who loves Him knows. Our Father can be quite harsh to His children, not to hurt us, but to save us. He wants no sin to stand between us. If I start complaining that He is being too hard on me, He reminds me that it's what I've prayed for. And I thank Him for being that faithful when I can't be.

Even today if God would convict me of my faith being 99% wrong, I would change. I'd have to. Because He is God. But I have seen too much to know that that isn't gonna happen. He always convicts me if I'm heading in the wrong direction, chastises me, because I pray for it. And then I pray, and pray, and pray. "Give me a deeper conviction!" Until Gods will is done, and He has conquered the sin or the lie for me. Or He has moved me out of my comfort zone, so I can walk boldly with Christ. (That is the hardest part for me)

In order to really live for God's will, you have to be willing to listen and change. Seek Him! Don't give up, no matter how difficult the struggle. And if you find out that you've been deceived, just repent and move on. Because it's for God's Glory, and in the end, if you don't submit to the Holy Spirit and change you won't make it to Heaven. Don't hold on to a lie because of pride and fear. It hurts to let go, or admit that we were wrong, but the simplest solution is to remember that God will use it in the future to save and help others. What was meant for evil, God will use for good. And He will be pleased that you are submitting to Him. I've had to let go of so much, and the Lord just filled me with His Love and joy everytime that happened. It's about Him, not us. There are so many false teachings today, and it is so easy from become deceived by them. But God wants to teach us Himself.

So study His Word, and do it properly, by seeking Him in prayer, and wait for Him to speak. Don't ever rely on your own understanding, or expect God to be who you want Him to be. Don't watch a bunch of YouTube teachings and sermons that sound good (I was even forbidden from doing this at one point) or read some books that make you feel good. Don't seek supernatural experiences (though they will come eventually, but by God's will, through faith) but seek to know God!

Always give God all the Glory, and do not put the focus on yourself or your ministry. You're doing His work for Him, and not for yourself. It's not a career, it's a calling. God will pull away from you if you seek your own glory, or put yourself above others. Humble yourself before God, and He will lift you up. But not so you can be seen for who you are, but so God's work in you can be seen to show who He is.

I hope this inspires someone. :) I am so early in my walk with God still, I haven't done a lot yet. Only three years. But this faith and commitment, determination, that God has given me, has gotten me really far. And I'm not boasting about it, because I know it's all God's doing. But He has taught me how to live for Him. I would be so lost without Him.

And it's all real. The whole Bible. It's completely true. Don't doubt it! Seek God and His will! Seek His truth! Seek His wisdom and His leading! Don't seek His blessings, seek His Kingdom!

:)
