  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

We now live in a world of complete human divisiveness. There are fanatics on both sides, of both the secular and the religious world. At this point in history, the fanatics of both sides have taken over and the majority, who once were moderates creating better times, have ether been overwhelmed...

My personal phrase of the times is 'Dependency Will Be Our Demise'. We, in the first world, have in less than a century gone from millennia of independence in every aspect of life, to total dependance on someone/thing else to provide. Simple survival is a lost art. There are product shortages...

The world which man has created in our own image, has a set pattern. We do things out of a tradition, based upon putting our own will ahead of the Will of the Father. Although mankind may not think of it, in doing so we are technically doing things backwards to the ways of the Kingdom. We were...

Consider that Jesus told His apostles that truth only comes from the Father when He said Simon had spoken a piece of the truth, and that it was the Father's truth, not man's, that He would build His church upon. Now consider that we in the 21st century are living in a truly post-truth era where...

What does the tradition of Christmas teach children? Even with the knowledge of the birth of Jesus and who He was, has it remained a good thing or like everything else, has a subtle twist occurred that benefits the Adversary? Even without idolizing all the dazzle and hoopla, what does the...

Christmas. The season of good will, peace on earth and other dreams. A time of decorations and celebration and of giving. Oh, how we like to give and get those presents. We've built an entire custom out of giving and receiving in the form of Santa Claus, and using commercialism to create the...

Jesus was not a Christian. He was Jewish. His original followers were Jewish only. These Jewish disciples, followers and Apostles remained Jewish. Nor did He come to create a religion, but to fulfill not only OT scriptures, but to further God's agenda in overcoming adversity. His priority was...

The Bible is an ongoing record of God's frustrations, and His plan to deal with the rebellious who prefer an adversarial spirit to following His will. This, as we all learn to participate as workers with awareness, in a creation that is necessarily built upon opposites, including good and evil...

Mankind, although many within wish to have the last word, seems to think that we have the ultimate solutions, the die is cast. Follow tradition they say, especially in religion. God however, says to continually seek Him. In order to do so, we must doubt that which we have already learned or...

It depends what you want to believe in... Christianity has become so fragmented. The religion, at man's behest, wants you to believe all sorts of things man has self-determined. Jesus, on the other hand, made it clear we were to first seek the Kingdom. That found and you will understand. And He...

I'm going to come at this from a Godly and godly angle. First of all, for the most part, neither side in a government serves the people as a whole, which of course runs contrary to following God's will. So if God's will isn't served, then who's will is being served? The sons of God that still...

The world, based on self, expects us to go with the flow. We are bombarded daily with everything related to self-absorption, from politics/consumerism to prosperity gospels. Even Christianity turned from a Him religion to a me one, more concerned about what's in it for us than God's overcoming...

People just don't like taking turns. They take the easy way out and cherish divisiveness because they naturally are incapable of compromise, preferring to be self-serving. It is not the system's fault, but the people's. God has been saying this about us since the Garden. © ...timothyu

What should we remember in times of ethical crisis? Jesus summed it up in two commandments. We are selfish, self-serving individuals. When we put God's will first, we must then change (repent) of such behaviour. Loving all, not just self, means we must not only consider others in times of their...

People point fingers, often labelling someone as a false religious messenger. However, the message should be first and foremost in this discernment. It exposes the messenger as false (not the other way around) if it deviates from the original Gospel of the Kingdom. This of course, would also...

The will of the Father has always been put His will ahead of our own, the self-serving brats that we be. He said to love all as self, not self. People like to look at Jesus but ignore how He lived and what He taught, celebrating Him but not the message nor the lifestyle. That is our will, once...

As we learned in the Garden, good and evil existed side by side within the spirit of God of which we are a part (otherwise the tree would not have been there). Our choice, since that time, is which nature we follow, the one which is servitude to God and each other in need, or evil which is...

Are we being adversarial to the will of God; as disobedient as all the examples given in scripture? We do it every time we put our will ahead of the Will of the Father. The foundation of mankind's world, which we have made in our own image, is built upon the concept of 'self' and self-interest...

Following the Will of God in loving all as self, is non destructive. Both the good and bad in the world react kindly to good deeds but the bad do have a tendency to be exposed as the backwards thinking humans that they are, because of it. This, of course, does not mean just the stereotypical...
