A poem of thanks

Thank you, for the food I eat,
Thank you for the ground beneath my feet,
Thank you for all of my wonderful friends,
Thank you for your protection that never ends.

Thank you for the clouds that cool the earth,
Thank you for happiness, laughter and mirth,
Thank you for my parents and family, too,
Thank you, deeply, for awakening me to you .

Thank you for the rain that makes all clean,
Thank you for everything both seen and un-seen,
Thank you for everything, and always being there,
Thank you, for hearing my humble prayer.

Thank you for the air that we all breathe,
Thank you for the wonders that you weave,
Thank you for giving us all self worth,
Thank you for supporting us planet Earth.
