  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The story goes back long before the creation of man, a place in non-time where entities first created the foundation for future rebellious mankind by way of their own original adversarial ways to the will of God. The blinded were preparing to create the blind. For mankind, being adversarial by...

Mary was a young woman, a virgin, who feared the Lord God and who worshipped him with her whole heart. And one day she was visited by an angel of God who came to her with a message from God. He told her not to be afraid, for she had found favor with God. And then he told her that she was about...

With repentance, we begin to see life as being about each other rather than focusing on self. Yes we are of the same nature as our fellow worldly predators, everything in existence being food for everything else, but man for some reason beyond a natural survival instinct hunts each other, having...

Christmas Meditation He saw everything and loved We are all called to interior freedom, yet like everything in this world, there is a price to be paid. The armor of man is easier to wear than is the armor of God. To go against, to fight, to hate, and seek revenge. To devalue as less than...
Psalms 40:4-5 ESV “Blessed is the man who makes the Lord his trust, who does not turn to the proud, to those who go astray after a lie! You have multiplied, O Lord my God, your wondrous deeds and your thoughts toward us; none can compare with you! I will proclaim and tell of...
“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall...

“I love you, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. I call upon the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies. “The cords of...
“Give ear to my words, O Lord; consider my groaning. Give attention to the sound of my cry, my King and my God, for to you do I pray. O Lord, in the morning you hear my voice; in the morning I prepare a sacrifice for you and watch. “For you are not a God who delights in...
