  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

The image of a little boy floated up from my spirit as I was in prayer. This little boy may have developmental problems of some sort. He is smaller than normal for his age. Perhaps Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). I pray for the little boy. I prophecy over him and the Spirit says...
Hebrews 12:1-4 ESV “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy...

The Passing of our Fr. Matt Torpey On the last Wednesday of the month, we have our retreat day. It is a day when our schedule is simplified, and there is only necessary work. Our first office of the day, which is named Vigils, is toned down. Except for the responsorial psalm, and the opening...

1 Peter 5:5-11 ESV “Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’ Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he...

Four writers John, Luke, Peter & Paul testify to FAITH ALONE JOHN Jn 3:36 He who believes and trusts in the Son and accepts Him [as Savior] has eternal life [that is, already possesses it]; but he who does not believe the Son and chooses to reject Him, [disobeying Him and denying Him as...

Matthew 11:7-11 NIV “As John’s disciples were leaving, Jesus began to speak to the crowd about John: ‘What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed swayed by the wind? If not, what did you go out to see? A man dressed in fine clothes? No, those who wear fine clothes are in kings’...
The Apostle Paul wrote this letter to the saints and the faithful in Christ Jesus who were at Colossae. And where it applies, we can apply it to the lives of those today who are the saints of God and who are his faithful ones. And a saint is one who is holy, and to be holy is to be separate...

Hillariah said, "Don't you see? It is something about this place, if that many of us feel that way with breathing heavily. We must move on, and not stay right here. We must not stay resting here. Moving on is the only way we will get away from this place where there are these effects on us."...
Galatians 4:8-9 ESV “Formerly, when you did not know God, you were enslaved to those that by nature are not gods. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want...

It can really warp a person's thinking. Hate is a sneaky thing, it can disguise itself too. I am speaking specifically of hate of a specific church group. Some Christians expend a lot of energy hating on Catholics. There is some of their teaching that I vehemently oppose, but there is a lot...
