What if I were to make a suit with the outside covering with a real zombie.

Well... first i would wake up to see a zombie standing outside my door at which point my first reaction would be to say "Awwwwww not fair they got a head start..... cheaters...." At which point with a big grin on my face i would go to my closet put on my best jeans and boots and a white t-shirt followed by my favorite leather jacket. I would then put two good pairs of jeans in my old army green backpack with some basic emergency food. I would then go look at my weapons rack and grab my two best swords which are a couple of heavy duty asian styled machetes (not those cheap walmart ones), my two tantos and my throwing knives. Last of all would be my FM-Scar 7 (and lots of ammo clips of course).

I would then get in my 77 celica and go have myself some fun....

Imagine though, an entire sea infested with zombified critters. Could make for an interesting beach session.

A zombie body suit? Could be interesting. Have to be from only the finest zombie though, carefully killed to preserve the skin in as great a detail as possible, patch up jobs rarely look as good as simply putting decoration over bullet holes.

ah no not a Khukri... the ones i have are not bent forward... one is similar to a scimitar in fashion but with almost no curve to it, it's very thick and has a hefty weight to it... not meant for small twigs and brush but rather large branches and trunks making it ideal for zombie slaying... however due to the weight it can be impractical long term as your arm would get tired to quickly... my other one is closer in design to a katana, but slightly thicker and close to a machete in size but of higher quality, slightly heftier but not as hefty as my other one and ideal for a cleaner cut, however being slightly longer it is less practical in closed spaces than my other one.

and before anyone suggests i bring my katana as well i will disagree as long term it is impractical against a zombie invasion due to it being to long and to thin... as well as the fact that the keen edge would chip far to easily on zombie neck bones and does not carry enough weight to properly strike through a zombie skull either.....

And in regards to those believing in zombies it is perhaps one of the more practical horror/thriller apocalypse stories.... though not in the undead rotting corpse sense... it would be something along the lines of rabies or mad cows disease, now those are much slower acting and wont necessarily drive a human insane like it does animals however if you keep up with the Popular Science magazine you may have noticed an article about scientist genetically enginearing the cancer sore virus. What they aim to do is change the virus and use it in the brain to help protect and repair brain tissue in times of stress, imagine if it went out of control and completely replaced the brain... Now consider this, the cancer sore is an oral virus that can show up with in a day or two of contracting it, and contracts via saliva. Now also consider that exactly what people envision a zombie virus as doing is altering the brain tissue so they are no longer human, and go insane wanting living flesh like a wild animal (virus goes bad replaces the human mind, hrm sounds familiar...), and it is transmitted via bites (hrm bites = saliva) and once infected change within a day or two maybe less (sound familiar?)... now imagine thousands of people shelling out the money to extend their life by being injected with a virus intended to repair and protect their brain tissue.... well we all saw resident evil, i think we know how this story ends...

As of now, I'm feeling completely unprepared for any sort of zombie attack, but seeing as I have this innate ability to be great at everything, I'm really not that worried.

Its only a 45 minute drive from where I live.

Assumign we're talking about 'I am Legend' style zombies where as the virus outright kills some animals, turns some others into zombies and the human zombies are slow- then the plan would be as follows.
-grab my AK- belt. Yes my AK belt.. it has the holster for my AK bayonet as well as AK magazine puches on it. Attach my pistol holster to it.. put the sucker on. Place my CZ-75B in the holster. Sling my AK around my shoulder and grab my M38 mosin-nagant. Then proceed to grab the ammo for such weapons that I have. As much as can easily be carried. As well as a few knives I have- last case secenario for combat however. Then I would proceed to a nearby friend's place (preferably after calling them first) Then add this person to my 'party.' Arm said person with the M38 and the ammo for said weapon. Then unsling AK and proceed back to my domicile. Acquire my last remaining rifle (this one has a scope) along with its ammo and also my stockpile of non-perishable food.
Load up in the car and drive to the 'safe house.' (yes I said safehouse... I have an actual zombie survival plan...) Upon arrival at safehouse, announce password and gain entry. Upon entry add non-perishable food items to stockpile. Begin work on defensive structures as per the plan. This should be easily completed by nightfall.
Survive the night....
Then gather a small group and recon the nearest supermarket. Grab food if the area is safe. If only a few zombies- pacify and acquire. If substantial zombie presence exists- leave area immediately.

Recon one of the gun stores in the area... acquire more ammo if possible.
survive the night.
Days 2 and 3 would be repeated for the next few days to gather a substantial stockpile of weapons, ammo and food. When a substantial stockpile is gathered- all persons at the safehouse would then fully concentrate on defensive measures until such a time as the military rolls in, as would be highly likely in any zombie outbreak scenario.
