I would pull out my swords and knives, get to my car (its close) drive to (into it if needed) a sporting goods store would be the first thing I did, I would take my keys my swords and thats it. While everyone else is packing up I will be collecting what I need at the SG store.
Then I would be armed to the teeth, I would search the net on a laptop on placed to find real knight style armor made out of true steel, not the costume stuff, even if I had to raid a museum, it would be okay, they would all be in search for guns and ammo) I would put on the armor.
Then I would go and find EVERYONE I care about get them somewhere safe and use my armor to fight any I had to.... bite all ya like, I got on chain mail and armor plating
Sure, given long enough they mat get through, but who says I plan on letting them live long enough. Id still have my swords, guns, knives and bow. (I'd be heavy, sure, but Id be a heavy armored tank
)
If those I love were already lost by the zombies I would probably shed the armor and go out fighting in style with nothin to lose.
Probably be like Kiefer Sutherland in Young Guns 2 "Lets finish the game."

Oh, I'd also grab a pack of smokes.... why not...bigger things to worry about, like getting eaten. lol
