  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I was taking Lexapro 20mg for about six months. I was having break through anxiety and it didn't seem to be working. She switched me to 100 of Zoloft, which is about the equivalent of 20 mg Lexapro about, oh, 3.5 weeks ago. I've noticed the change this past week.

For folks like me who have PTSD and other disorders-- our brain chemistry is messed up in the first place. My brain doesn't work right. There are several anti-depressants that are Class A or B drugs and safe or nuetral to be on while pregnant.

Thanks for that info. I didn't realise.

FWIW peri-natal depression is often worse in subsequent pregnncies because one's good fat stores are depleted.

Somehow I don't think that was the case in any of my pregnancies. :D To quote a friend, I was "as big as a house". (Still am, unfortunately.)

lol, the nard thing is a joke pingy.

I'm getting my gallbladder out. thank you for praying.

Good luck. I will pray for you too.

Well, to add to the Zoloft discussion. My depression has returned much due to my other health issues. For now it is considered to be a moderate depression.

Today I started on 30 mg and next week I will start on 50 mg. If this is not effect full I guess my doc will up the dosage.

I hope that you get well after your nardectomy....eh......gallbladder removal. But make sure that they don`t remove any of your spunk.

You need to come down off it slowly, taper it.
Some people can come off it no probs and others can't. Depends on the dose.
I have been taking valium 5mg prn for about two months and because it is only a prn thing and the dosage isn't very high, I don't get withdrawals. Though my usage was more for tension headache/neck problems then anxiety.
