I just beat the Twilight Princess yesterday. After all the credits it said "the end". I couldn't do anything so I restarted it. When I went bacdk into my file everything was as before I beat it. Is that the way it's supposed to be? I can't roam around now that I'm done?

That's how most games work....or at least all the ones I've played. If you want to wander around you need to do it in a pre-final-battle world. It's not that bad, really.
