I had a lot of fun watching this show last season, and this one looks even better so far.

I loved how the leaders were of the opposite sex this week and thought it VERY interesting that Bradford, the leader of the women, picked Pamela out right off the bat as an aggressive person and she became the leader of the men! What a gut call!!!! His instincts appear to be good- especially since he backed off in the toy meeting after coming on so strong...

Loved the challenge too, TOYS!

So Raj with the cane likes to stand out, but does he have a brain? He looks fun! And who will be the bimbo on this episode? I'll need a few more episodes for the players to begin to stand out in my mind and to display their qualities before I can make any picks.
Stacey J bombed early with her "look at me- I'm trying to be whimsical and clever with my magic 8-ball" nobody was biting at that-IT WAS ALREADY DONE ON SURVIVOR STACY!!! - so she got all mad at everyone and went off the handle trying to save face. that's my gut analysis of that little episode.
Pamela looks like possibly the most miserable person on the planet.

I also think it's funny that there's a woman named Ivana on this show. I wonder when Trump's going to comment on THAT!!!!???? lol!!!!

Oh, I missed the first episode (migraine). But I am hoping to get involved with the next episode. I didn't start watching this show until late in the game last season, it was after the teams were mixed, not just strictly male vs. female. I was out of town for business on night and I came back to the hotel room and just switched on the tv. Apprentice was on and I got so sucked in. I wish I had watched all of the episodes. I have been looking forward to the 2nd one.

Bradford
was fired. I was shocked. I honesty didn't think they deserved to go. I thought they did a pretty gutsy thing, but I also thought they did it because they knew their performance was good and they had no reason to be worried. Ivana should never have taken
Bradford
into the board room. She was a lousy program manager. She had no control over her team. In my opinion, she was the one who deserved to be fired. I was surprised Trump was so angry at want happened that he neglected the performance of the program manager.

And I wonder that happens next week? The preview said the boardroom rules are broken!!

Well... now that the west coast has had a chance to see it...

Bradford- incredibly stupid move. When you have immunity, you hold on to it for dear life! If he's going to make business decisions as unthinkingly and sttupid as this one, can't really blame Trump for showing him the door. From the competition, either Ivana or Stacy J. deserved to go. By boardroom, Bradford was the obvious choice.

Guess the Project Head taking two or three back to the elimination is going to be a normal thing this year. Interesting, as the PM goves effectual immunity to any they don't take... no matter what Trump was thinking... (Maybe this is what gets broken next week?)

Bradford said:
Wow... not going to say anything now, but that was a shocker.

*laughing at your name Bradford because of last night*

Well, I gasped out loud too!!!

Here's what happened.
The teams were told to make a new flavour of ice cream and sell it. The women picked Ivana (yes, Ivana) to lead them and the men, by picking a name out of a hat got the ex-army guy (can't remember his name).
Ivana, not wanting to be as pushy as Bradford was the previous week, was very wishy washy and a terrible leader. The team was all over the place. They lost their ice cream carts, they got separated, and Stacy was becoming more of an outcast.

The men did really well, donating a portion of their proceeds to leukemia and they all wore Raj's bow ties so they looked really together and fun. They sold like mad men and they out-sold the women by $250- not even including the portions that they donated to leukemia (they asked Trump if they could donate the whole thing after they won and he said yes).

So anyway, the losing team is sitting in the board room and Trump says to Ivana "pick 2 or 3 people to come in the boardroom with you" she inititally decides to pick 2 then changes her mind and picks 3 and Trump says "I can see why people say you're so indecisive".

Bradford did great on this assignment, hustling people to buy ice cream, creating a buzz around the product and basically bringing people to the carts to buy it, so he was feeling quite confident and cocky. The cockiness showed up when he said he would be willing to waive the immunity he won the previous week and Trump accepted that. So Ivana picked Stacy, Bradford and Julie I think her name is to come into the boardroom with her.

While they were waiting, Trump asks Carolyn who she thinks sucked and she said Ivana was a terrible leader and Trump asks the older guy (can't remember his name) and he says Stacy is an oddball who can't fit in.

so Trump calls them back in and he calls it as he sees it with Stacy,- says everyone seems to hate you Stacy and you screwed up. To Ivana he says he's having a hard time with her name and she was a terrible leader. To the other chick who keeps interrupting he tells her to shut up :D . Then he turns to (I keep wanting to call him Troy- he reminds me of him) Bradford and says Bradford, you're the best one in the room, but you made a stupid impulsive decision, a life changing decision and if you were running my company, one of those decisions could ruin things. YOu made a stupid move Bradford, one that overshadows ice cream or getting lost or anything, so you're fired.

It was so much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I loved last season.

Kwame and Bill, a showdown of friends. I loved that final round, so awesome with 2 awesome buisnessmen. I hope that 2 awesome buissnesspeople are going to be in the finals this season.

I didn't get to watch a show this season, but I can't wait to see it. Ever since Bill won and they announced that there will be another season, I was excited. I WILL see it soon!

Pure and simple - shock factor. Bradford was fired for ratings. He obviously did not deserve to be fired.

Big mistake. So far he is the only one who has any personality! Bradford and Raj were the only 2 people I remembered after the first show. I remembered the name Ivana but I couldn't put her face to her name.

I believe he successfully shocked everybody! But I think the show would have been better with Bradford still on it. I'm not saying I think he would have gone all the way but he was definitely interesting to watch.

I think he will be brought back for something. Hope so.

Something else I thought was rather ironic-last season, at one point Trump got onto the woman for using their sex appeal too much. This time he got on them for not using it enough!
I think He believed they abused it last time. But he made a good point on the last episode concerning it. It is all about apperance sometimes.

True. The guys seemed to have it together with their bow ties and such this time. I thought it was a cute idea. I just thought it was funny because such a big deal was made about the women last time using sex to sell and Ivana made the comment she was not going stoop that low or something to that effect, and Trump immediately jumped on that comment.

BTW-Happy Birthday, Suffolk Sean! :birthday:

Brad made a stupid choice...I wouldn't want him running one of my businesses either. Not ratings...just good business.
Again, he made an innoceous choice, had no bearing on anything, just upset the Donald is all. His choice amounted to wearing a suit on casual day, not a good choice, but doesn't affect anyone but himself.

I liked Trump's rationale for his payment. Stars of Friends get $500,000.00 an episode, ther's 6 of them, that's 3 million. There's only one "star" of the apprentice, and it gets better ratings, he should get $3mil+.

Don't know if those are the exact numbers.

Also, I enjoy Don's flamboyance. In the word of the super-rich, he's not. Hiw 2.5 bil is nowhere near Buffett or Gates (35bil+) but this guy knows how to market himself.

I just loved this episode! It was great to finally see how the group of girls would fight/conspire against each other.. (didn't get to see that last season!)

But I don't feel Bradfords mistake was that grave. I expected Trump to keep hammering him because of it, but turn to Ivana in the last second and fire her (which she totally deserved!. However, the result was television at it's finest...
