CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We are having a blizzard today which will last until tomorrow afternoon.. Some say we might get around 18 inches of snow!!

Asvin - As I said, I live in PA. We won't get that much - maybe 8 inches or so. Will you let us know how much you end up with?
However, they are expecting more in Philly and Jersey. They moved the Eagles game to Tuesday night.

I live right in the middle of an island (Long Island) in New York, so the weathermen said we could expect more than what they get in Jersey and New York City!

Well it looks like after it was all said and done we got 6-8 inches where I live but some counties reported 10-12 I think.

After all of that hype, we got virtually nothing. We didn't even get enough to shovel. Philly, which is to my south, and Jersey, to my east, got hit very hard.

Consider yourself lucky lol.. I had to shovel 3 times today and it wasn't a pleasant experience lol.. I must convince my dad to spend some moolah on a snow blower!!
