CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It's OK to lie when others are oppressing you. I mention this because many people, not just Christians, seem to think lying is wrong even down to the minutest detail. In sermons you hear this all the time; we're supposed to beg God for forgiveness.

Taking that much capital out of the private sector to finance government run business is Socialism. I don't think we're ready for that yet.

Oh, this is gonna be good.
"My most ethically questionable view"
mandatory birth control. until the population stabilizes and decreases a bit. every couple can have 1 kid. 2 if twins. otherwise, you only get one. if it dies. you can have another. but only if it dies of natural causes and no tomfoolery of course. all women "once birth control can be healthily administered" must get a shot every 5 years *as the shot lasts five years* and can only have a kid was proving to have a stable income and capable of parenting. mandatory parenting courses on how to handle a child will be required though this does not affect personal belief you can raise them to worship a rock, I don't care. this is just about them staying alive and being somewhat decent members of society.
now for the lesser ethical part. besides mandatory birth control if one is found to some have an extra child the child will be taken and given to a couple than for whatever reason cant have kids whether it be nature or their gay or whatever.
those found to be child abusers/ criminals of violent offenses *without just reason* will lose their childbearing privileges. they can still have sex. they will just be on permanent birth control forever, *now not sure if male birth control will become a viable thing thanks to the FDA and the retards running our government." but if it's not. then let's say a male serial killer/complete criminal, their partner would not be permitted to have kids with said person and so would be forced to leave them if they want children.
this action will lower/stabilize the population which benefits all. and with fewer children overall per populous and family they will get more attention and needed support/resources. it also removes those welfare parasites who have 20 kids and live off child support. so it solves a lot of other issues as well.
furthermore, if global warming is truly caused by humans "highly doubt its a natural cycle" but if I am wrong. and it truly is. having fewer people polluting the atmosphere until we can find a better viable way of energy as we certainly can't just shut off our oil supplies and batteries which store green energy is horrid for the environment as they require rare earth metals. so until we find a viable solution than keeping our overall population stable or decreased would buy us more time.
and also helps a multitude of other problems. all which can either be fixed or assisted in solving by such an action as listed above ^^^^^
all that for simply controlling our population like we do every other animal below us *funny we don't apply the same rational and logic to ourselves as we do everyone else. humanity, the species of hypocrisy.
anyhow probably will never happen unless we get an insane [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] in who does it by accident or has some ulterior motive. but one can always dream.
